this is unusual. every time i deactivate the void mod, and try to play SP, it crashes when you get past the starting movie. can anyone help me?

Sounds as though you have a problem with the freelancer install. The FLMM is very good, however, from time to time it does leave files in the game folders if its closed down incorrectly or interupted whilst activating/deactivating a mod.

Seems to me you need to reinstall FL

If he gets a crash before he gets to the menu it's likely that mod manager hasn't copied back over the restart.fl and autosave file properly, or its flumuxed, your best bet is to delete the autosave to which there should be an option in mod manager.

Failing that, as Strail suggested, a re-install

the best thing to do is when you deactivate the mod...yyou should restart your computer & then it should be ok...

Not to sound rude but, restarting your computer doesn't change files on your hard disk when deactivating or activating a mod in my experience ... the act of doing either activate or deactivate does.

i had a similar problem...and i helped me...i deactivated the mod...started SP and it crashed on my desktop...i restarted my computer and started the SP and it workeed perfectly...i tried again and same thing..restart again it works fine...
