Void Banner

I want to give this a second go. But the default banner your giving is a locked layer on photoshop, which means i cant put renders ect on to it. How can i unlock it?

is there anything in particular your looking for?

also you said it has to fit in with the theme but which one?
the Z3 theme or the Chromo theme?



on a side note what happened to the original VOID theme?
its not in th elist of selectable themes anymore.

i quite liked using the now almost 'Retro Void theme'

It needs to be the banner for this theme = z3 theme, the chromo theme was a standard theme until this one was sorted out.

All I'm looking for is a nice banner, if you can do some fancy stuff like animation etc then thats great, would be cool to see a space scene/planet/sun etc in the banner with the void wording. But we have no pre-conception.

As regards the old Void theme, this is currently not uses as its not compatible, without quite a bit of editing, on nuke evo so we have mothballed it for now. I liked the original one as well but this is a nice them also.

Its just an example i have make for know if like this style or not, if like i can search a better font for the void logo and for the slogan, adjuste the background images and some other things and add other flash stuffs.

Ohhhh...now thats very cool imo.

Couple of observations...

The void and scream thru the pain needs to be in a different type of text and maybe moved to the centre of the banner where its darkest and stands out more?
What the chances of having a ship or two moving in it?

BTW, I really like those asteroids moving and the planet revolving.

Yes is possible to have ships moving around the header

theres a lot happening in it but some really good bits....
the spinning plannet is very good, as is the lightning in the nebula
nice work mate..

Thanks Nessus, what types of fonts do you need - file type? Ive got a few available.

Maybe you can send me the banner file when you have a moment and we can start checking it out for inclusion for a test run on the site.

@ Strail if u want i can code the header, so you just need to change you header.html whit the new and add the images folder in you images theme folder.

If u mean in the middle of the header is impossible, its the strech of the header for open the theme to 100%, its just a 5px pic repeated.
