Re: In the Navy
TOTALLY off topic:
@ Asmodeus' video, "Like lambs to slaughter.... I gave my lfe to save her"
Yes, and no. By June 6, 1944 the Soviet Union had already turned the tide and was consistently pushing back the Nazis. After the Battle of Kursk, Nazi Germany's days were numbered.
Western history books look at D-Day as "The Day We Liberated Europe"
Bul!$4it.
We invaded Europe to keep the Soviets from expanding too far west. Period. If we did nothing, the War in Europe would have been over by '46 or '47. It the Billy Talent charachter wanted to save the USO girl, he'd have been flying a Mosquito or Lancaster in the RAF, taking out V1 and V2 sites. And WTF does "The Navy" have to do with soldiers dying on the beach? Do they get props for playing taxi and lobbing shells from out in The Channel? But I digress.
BTW, Europe was "liberated" in the early 1990's after the Soviet Union collapsed under it's own bloated, corrupt corpse. Poland, The Baltic States, Ukraine etc. Thanks again, Mr Reagan.
No more puppets =D>

Re: In the Navy
Sorry, I meant no offense. I just take my history a bit too seriously. I know it's just a video.
I deeply respect all that gave selflessly of themselves so that others may be free. I just get frustrated when one group is over-represented to the exclusion of others. The war did not begin or end on June 6, 1944.
I'm calm now. Can I have a hug?

Its better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that
you\'re stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt.
