A Shiny New Server

I’d like to take a minute and comment on the new server..

Ultimately, this note is to say thanks to all those that contributed to the Void to make it a success..

First off, for those that haven’t read the “read me” file in FLMM, here it is..

There are several additional names that ultimately belong on this list..

The A-Team as a whole..  We owe a great deal to each of them for their individual efforts in both everyday activities and behind the scenes work..  What’s listed below is only a partial list of what these people do for the Void..

• Elessar – For his artwork and help in testing
• Kahless – For his technical knowledge / advice and creating some of the Admin tools
• Fracture, TIODS, Rimshot – For creating several pieces of music that you hear in the mod.  Not to mention all the testing they did for the mod.
• Rimshot again – For his modding skills and forward thinking..
• Fracture again – For all the work he does in the forums.
• Wayfarer – Even tho we haven’t seen much of him lately, he spent a great deal of hours testing the current mod.
• Clavat – For creating some of the weps that are in game and all his time testing the mod.
• Kodiak – For his hours of testing and his help setting up our TS server.

Watchwolf – Seems when things looked grim, he created a spark and kept us going..

Strail – For dealing with all the details.  I wish I could list everything that this man does for this server.  I’m afraid that the list would probably overload our forum space.

VectorX – For his awesome work on the forums.

The Donators – We took in 33 separate donations to make our new server a reality.

The community – Without you folks, the Void would not exist..  

So, that’s in excess of 70 individuals that get a big “THANKS” for the Void.  If these people got paid hourly for what they do here, they would all be very wealthy..  I'm sure that I missed a few names that belong on this list - my most humble apologies.

Anyway, congrats to all on the shiny new server!  You set a goal, worked towards it, and made it happen.

Yes Indeed, thanks to all mentioned and those who are not but still play a big part in this ccommunity by playing here.

I just want to confirm that the new server is now online and working as of yesterday afternoon - see how the 1hour downtime turned into 3hours....this was due to some trauma over licences etc that needed to be sorted out.

We all hope this makes a big difference to your gaming experience and allows us to connect even more players.

Thanks again for all the support and to Watchwolf for his enthusiasm and help.

I can now spend time finishing off the mod.
