Are you a Freelancer? Are you fed up with the bickering and the politics of clan membership and rules? Are you fed up with the predations of Pirates and the rampage of Rogues?  Fed up with the lack of Naval support when you get jumped in your AT?  Want to take the fight to those that steal your valuable cargo?  Keen to make a buck or two?  Like to be left to do your own thing?  Want to get round those tricky government customs checks?  Good at wheeling and dealing, ducking and diving?  Tired of "saluting" and saying "Sir, Yes Sir!" ?  Need to cool your heels for a bit? Flying "under the radar" ?

AoF is the place for you.  Trade when you want to trade. Fight when you want to fight.  We stand at a core of 11 active members at present and are looking to expand our range of activities.  Most of us are keen explorers and traders here on the Void.  We do have our fighter characters but are lacking in a decent core of PvPers.  We are keen to have like minded traders/explorers on board, but we are particularly interested in those who would be keen to pursue a more aggresive stance against the likes of RIP and anyone who crosses our trade lanes with malicious intent.  

Remember - this is not a "clan" in the strictest sense of the term. We are a loose association of  Freelancer traders that came together due to the distinct lack of support from the "lawful" forces and the fierce predations of  certain Pirate and Rogue clans and characters.  As an association we are keen to emphasise that multi clanning is permitted.  PLEASE read the Associations information on the Void Forum - (this will be updated soon)

I am initially keen to recruit a minimum of 5 keen core fighters who will be able to organise and take care of themselves in the realms of PvP, maintaining a good level of  RP in line with AoF and not sit around waiting for someone to tell them what to do.  We have allies. If you find that you are on your own in your AoF colours  -be proud of it and go hang with some of  our friends  - RP is important to us, so remember to go take the fight to the miscreants.

We dont just give stuff away at AoF.  I want people who are going to remain dedicated to AoF and not just use us as a temporary "recash" stop or are going to whinge and whine when things dont always go their way.  Fighters will receive an initial payment of 2.5 million and some assistance in getting set up. Traders likewise will receive an initial payment of 1.6 million to set up in a trading character - you should not be surprised to know that you can make a decent profit relatively quickly - its all about how you want to handle the AoF RP.   Its not a fortune.  You will have to work at your role. This is not a "best ship free money bonanza strongest guns and shields immediate giveaway" idea.  This is about the true nature of being on the VOID.

Trade when you want. Fight when you want. Above all  - have fun.

As stated, I sponsered Onewombat as a prospective AoF member.  Since I haven't seen 911 in some time, and since I spoke with Zebulon about this, I helped get the player set up.  Since he is a self starter, all that was needed was a transfer and a correction in his AoF tag.  Done deal as of now.  Good luck Onewombat.
