Stricter Clan creation rules?

If your gonna try to remake a clan like Vagu i suggest you get some info from Gannon or someone who was actually a member for alot of info on it, but ffs 911 dont be so freaking negative all the time.

yea lol ive talked to gan and ruggs and i got 2 previous members who are co leaders as well but a previous member actually asked me if i would be leader and help him remake vagu but drop the vagu bit its off subject of the real issue on this forum

First of all what does it hurt if we had 200 2 man clans? It doesn't matter. The totally inactive clans,yes by all means "disband" it,but as long as there is at least 2 active members they should be left alone to enjoy their clan. Just because you may not see the point of a small clan doesn't mean everyone feels the same. Some people prefer to be in small clans,what's the harm in that?

I need to say a few words about my clan here , so please forgive me if i go on a bit.
I joined my clan cos of the bond amongst the guys, (I am the only female), We all have a very strong friendship, we all want to be the best we can be, and we damn well strive to achieve that goal.
We rid ourselves of abusers and hang on to the good guy, if there is a problem in the game or real life we know that we can count on each other as we will ALWAYS be there for each other.
We will stand up for our friends and clan mates if they feel wronged, and applaud them when they are right.
A clan is as strong as the members and I am proud to say I made the right choice in choosing mine.

Banging some weak clans make them harder sometimes, I saw several times in VOID  ;) , and is not an honorable conduct in any server. It creates hostile conducts between ppl for long time, I saw it too  :( .


Anyway, weak clans make more alliances, bring "live" to a server, and little fights in diferent systems. I like  many active weak clans in a server with 4 or 5 members.  Interactiviy is more strong. .

But what is an strong clan? In my opinion an strong clan is not the one that has more members or better pilots, an strong clan is just one that have deep links beetween members, simple and clear RP, and they are very confident with their RP.

how many times some ppl greened you  trying to recruit you because you are a decent pilot? just because that? or because you are new. I know that the base of recruitment of many clans is to get as much ppl as they can, and if they are good pilots that is an extra. Then more chances to get long period members. But others clan like more to "select" their recruits, watching their way of play, and these clans never have many members but they are strong.

But we dont have many different clans. They're all small, a few can be considered strong simply because the few pilots they have are rather talented. For that we have very few active clans of different roleplay, for the most part its just navy with some evil and pirate mixed in.

I really do miss having a set in stone enemy to fight with instead of fighting a few rogue freelancers that once in a while organise a small assault against the scattered navy, freelancers, and traders.

So yeah! Lets make the srver better and have a few small clans, and a few big clans instead of a few mediumish clans, a few small clans, and a lot of deaded clans!

i know what you mean about there being alot of The same clans to be honest all we see nowadays is pirates, navy, and order
we need to get some more Different clans
mercineries, nomads etc

Pi's right, on my old server if you werea bounty hunter you could make 500 mil a month if you were good (which was around 2 contracts on a weekday and 5 on a weekend). However on that server politics actually meant something as opposed to the void were its shoot first and talk third. However i was thinking, if the big clan - small clan balance worked out a whole rush of oppurtunities would arise, think about it, if you were the leader of a small clan and you were geting bullied by one of the heavy hitters what would you do? Call in the calvary for a few million credits . At the moment however your rarely under enough pressure to even consider mercs, which is hte reason there are no merc clans.

Along with that on my old home we had two types of merc, the [AMC] which were your merc group that attacked whole clans and then you had the [BH] (me =D) who would kill one target at a time. This system would fit well here too with [A]'s and [H]'s as bounty hunters and then whole clans as -[Clan]-Name-[H].

Yet another positive to clan reform =)
