Void Lottery

Hey guys From now until the forseeable future i will be running a lottery for The players of the Void
how i will do this is i will use the sendcash feature to send credits to 3 different players on the Void
to make it fair i will send the Cash using the player ID number if u press /list in game ul know wot i mean
il do this a few times per day so that all the Players get a chance of winning the cash

EDIT: From 15/8/07 Lottery prize money goes down to 2.5 mil

Great idea but how will the winning numbers be generated?

I assume you will have the 3 pre-determined numbers before you type /list, correct?  :-?

i will just typer the number into sendcash
e.g. /sendcash# 12 10000000
i wont look at the list first
also im just giving out the money so its more like a cash giveaway than a lottery

In fact I like this idea so much I might toss a few chances out there when I'm in-game too, if you don't mind.

the idea of a VOID lottery has been around for ages but using the unique player code is a very good idea.

if you want i could setup a random number generator to pick out a code for you to use, we could then setup a webpage to keep track of things, if the player who's number is generated isnt online the money roles over to the next person, you could then do a draw every couple of hours or so to space it out,

I must be a sad old man cos I always thought that it was a good idea to work towards something and then at least you felt like you earned it.  However, should my number come up I doubt if I will be in any great hurry to give it away...  ;)  :D

"Eyes Down for a Full House" - in the Event Zone? Like the Wolf suggested a list of runners and riders in the Great Void Lottery stakes would be cool
