I'm a History Channel junkie & seen these before.

The cool thing to note was in both videos you see, the American pilots initiate combat knowing that they are heavily outnumbered.  The Saber pilot (first vid) purposley sought out the formation leader, who is most experienced,  to attack first.  After losing his radar range finder to damage, kills his target "guesstimating" range to target.

I don't know how those guys fit in the cockpit with those big brass b@!l$ of theirs.

Lucky the F-86 didnt stall and go out of control from the MiG's Jet wash, if the MiG pilot was willing to gamble by increasing thrust the jet wash would blast the Sabre's out of control, but it could also give the saber pilot a better shot. The Sabre's had an advantage over the MiG's anyway; 1. all moving tailplane 2. they had a rader guided Gun Sight used on all modern jets today, whilst the MiG didnt so for instance imagine playing FL and pvping with no cross or target indicator but your opponent does.

u know that manouvers if u play IL2- sturmovik besides its really great game.

one point u know why meserchmitt or BF-109 was gunned down coz it has great speed about 500km?h but it has bad turn so like anubis mk II.

the P-51 is great plane with good charecteristics but when he need to defend it has more weaknesses.

thats what i know about these planes
