clan bases !!!!

hay guys , i have read some whrere that many people would like more base or hire bases or even make new bases with the clan names and that comes with there own NPC  ! how about without doing this we do something new ?

For example :

there is a problem with having so many base is that when the clan who owns the base may be ofline and another clan comes and claims the 1st clans base easily ! so what i suggest is the every base that is being occupied by a clan should be occupied by two clans instead of one ! so if i 1 clan is ofline the other can defend it and vise versa ! This way the base is truly defended from enemy attack ! another advantage of this is that it will give the ADMINS and VOID tags players some breathing space so they can enjoy the game as well. Not always changing things in the server ! this will for example put less pressure on people like STRAIL who has dedicated to making Void the best place to play ! in a way it will be like giving something back to the admins and server staff for all there hard work !

and remember AS USUAL its JUST a SUGGESTION ! so no FLARES please


PS: if some of u are woundering how can this work ! well the answer is simlpe ! 2 navy clans can share 1 base so it will be in good hands ! and 2 evil clans can share a base so it will in evil hands ! lol but never 1 navy clan and 1 evil clan sharing a single base !!! that will couse BIG problems !  so hoping to here from u guys ! :-SS

I heard about clan bases and i think it's an eccelent idea.
I think Strail head a headline about it. He said that there are limited of bases so that there would be a contest. Clan leaders should make a background story about there clans and the best once get a base. or something like that.

But there are clans here in the Void that always been here and they will never leave.  I surggest that they will be the first to pick.

I hope there will be more info about this, because it's been quiet about this for a wile now.

nice 1 but we dont fit in ... we living in space, we r everywhere and until now dont have problem to dock any evil or good basedont
So we dont need a base until we see some dock problem

Now, the purpose of this writing is not to talk about the release of the new mod. The purpose of this writing is to talk a little about clan bases. Yes, we plan to bring back clan bases in the next version of the Void.

Now Clan Bases.This great idea is reality on HC (hamburg city).Each clan can decide if they want a clan base.I suggest that clans must pay like lets say 500 mil.Clans could chose base type,deck type,base name and hcar which pays the cost.Bases
would be included in the next mod update.

the latest update i have heard is that strail or some of the mod team are working on a way 2 put names on bases of clans and change em without a new mod bein made

also l8est i heard is bases will be 2 BILLION

well for most of you who are new to the void we use to have clan planets, we had a hole clan system. that was in the last mod, i know most players here now dont remember that but there are still the old player that do, really has not been that long just 15 months ago we got this mod, not long at all.

the base ideal is a good one but it will have to be worked out buy strail just like our clan ships were, some great ideals are easier to pull off than others.

oh and for the new players there are no clan ships right now. however all those new ships you see. were at first going to be diferent clans ships, most were disigned by the clan. but like i said great ideal but was way to much to pull off so we got our new ships with out clan tags on them still real nice.

Yes there was a clan system, and it didnt work, and now clan bases. And I ask this question to whom it may concern:

if they are in another clan system:  why it is going to work now? Anything has changed?

if they are in several sirius systems: what systems? who choice the systems?, could some clans get better system than others clans?, a clan base in a system would affect to that system ( I mean that it is easy that in a few weeks the clan would be owner "in fact" of that system)?

Sorry, I dont wanna be negative, but I think that these questions and maybe more should be questioned and answered by admin team before made the clan bases. I am sure they thought about these points, just in case.

ok the thing is afaik

the 2billion is 2 make sure the clan won't abandon the base

the base names will be changeable without a new mod

the clan needs 2 be 1 or more yrs old

and the clan needs 2 be active

also strail is not the richest on void take a look here

So i start...

Clan base is a great idea! The clans not too much.. So basese are easy to put on the Void systems! Can made a rules like : where cant or can place base, distance form other bases or docks! for example in babylon or tartarus cant be an navy base only an evil, cuz tehre are nod , pirate and other criminals..

About distances i readed on other server forum... so i think is good idea..

Clan base have an [tag]name and clan name (in info)
EXamPLE: [Foldback] Rum base (when u marked it and pushed F8) lalla there live foldback clan members and like this way u know!

I VERY VERY want a clan base when ill be a veteran in fight i can flight to ma enemy clan and fight with them near their clanbase!

BUT clan base need no blow... cuz its will be stupid.

example... evil flight to nave base (navy base 100%) then evil win (navy base 0%) but not blowed... then need too w8 some12 or 24 hours to regenerate base hull... when base are under repair... there cant dock
will be stupid if u are inside the base when is fight so when are fight cant damage base when someone inside... or i dunno what need to do...

But CLANBASE is the best! admins made it please made the ability to buy a clan base!

I think that there are more clan bases then clans atm, so there won't be any clan left out of it

btw ppls, pls odn't give to much ideas to Strail, then he will update mod and update, then we will never get it

let him do the work, then talk about ideas if he decides to make another mod.....

Well AoF is about a year old and fairly active and in its rebuliding process it will hopefully gain all the money.

We would stake claim to the system when the time comes for atm i dont think the new mod is going to come any time soon.

The new mod maybe will be out early next year.January the earliest i would say.
This year is about to end anyway.The wait will be short.
