So my fellow clan m8s, it's time to decide this:

Will we roam in Sirius, or have our home system?

So, it is urgent that every single member replies to this topic so Zebulon can decide

PS:pls in ur reply say if u want to stay barbarian, or if u want for -=REAVERS=- to have home system, name it

I agree that we don't need a home, per se. Our style of play lends itself to being a barbaric nomad mob of ruthless killers, murderers and all around nice guys.

However, should it ever come to pass that clans can apply for and receive Clan Bases, would we want one?

Not saying anything one way or the other just bringing it up.

If we do decide to get a home system then let it be a system that no one cares about, a system that has been forgotten.
I prefer a dark black one or a big system where almost no players come.

Agreed with Inf. That totally fits our RP. A system goes a little over the edge so I think a " base " would be fine.

the only thing we need is some bases that we choose to dock
so that we can stay near the targets and kill them all >:)

Omicron Minor, it has Fp7 and support base, and Liberty Rogue planet

Nobody goes there, that system is visited 3-4  times a month probs, sometimes never I guess

It's far, it has jump holes to Nomad Hive and for Alaska, maybe few more things, I'm not sure

sorry to put my nose here, but why don't you put Zeta Leonis as a homesystem? 1 base, group of stars, and mosto of all - - it's dark  <):)

When and if we choose a Home System you need to consider a number of tactical objectives.  Whilst Zeta Leonis might be a good choice, how many exits are there and how long will it take you to get to where the action is at?  In a war situation, which lets face it, we will be in most of the time, the last thing you want is a system that can be blockaded with ease.  The second problem is one of activity. Are you prepared to rule your system?

Many claim a system and then dont uphold their mastery of it.  ESF claim Nomad1  - whilst they put in a better show than most, policing such a place 24/7 is almost impossible.  BBD claimed New London and the Bretonian systems as their "Home Patch" but they spent most of their time in Sparta.  FTP claim Omicron Theta (I think) the one with Freeport 9  - I havent seen them there in a while (that could just be me)  - but you get the picture?

Its all very well claiming a system but hanging on to it is quite another matter altogether.

Does your chosen system have a number of exits? Does your rep conflict with the home NPC's? Are there enough Docking Points so you cant be pinned down to just one?  Do you have easy access to the other systems? Is your "long way around" to long, when trying to aviod excessive number when trying to achieve an objective? Are you actually docked near your Home System or are you off fighting in Sparta instead of guarding the place you have laid claim to?

These are just a few of the questions that you have to ask if you want a Home System and its why I am against the idea in principle at least.  It would be good to have two or three places where we can launch assaults from - it keeps them guessing what we are up to or where we are going to strike next.

Omicron Minor as home system

Why do I want Omicron Minor as -=REAVERS=- home system?

1. It is far from house systems, but close  :)

2. NPC: only few trade convoys pass through it

3. These are objects in it:

1) Planet Dante - Liberty Rogues base - dockable / coords: XX

2) Freeport 7 - Europa base - Eagle, AT to buy in it, has a lot of different ammo, like sunslayer torps, adv. cm, wasp, altough no hornets / coords: XX

3) Freeport Support Base - Europa base - almost same stuff to buy as in Freeport, only no AT / coords: XX

4) Worm hole (1) - it leads to Alaska system / coords: XX

5) Worm hole (2) - it leads to Tempest system, from there u can reach Sparta and Dyson sphere / coords: XX

I will say again, this system is easy to reach, it is nice system, only few trade convoys from NPC activity so minimum lag
