There are 5 slots available for everyone. So I don't see any reason why some people want to use different RP tags on one char.
Make one pirate char.. go and play the game and RP
Make one rogue char.. go and play the game and RP
etc.
It's simple, those slots are for us, it's giving us a chance to play every RP which you wish, but we should play only one role on one char. Don't mix them.
And yea Frac hitted my nail.. It's really against the server rules
Nah, you raise a good point. And as well as I can logic it out, I come to the conclusion that there's no reason for a pirate to wait around for the navy after the pirate has committed an act of piracy. That's just plain crazy.
It would be the same as a bank robber waiting around, small-talking with the tellers waiting for the cops or FBI to show up and bust him.
Or, it would be the same as a drug-dealer calling up the cops and letting them know that they're dealing drugs and where... it just makes no sense.
You're right, the person who said you should stay and fight the navy if you're a pirate is just plain silly. There's no reason for it... ... ... unless you've got about a dozen pirate-buddies hangin' out, waiting to way-lay the navy when they show up. THAT would be QUITE "piratey", really... ambushing the navy when they show up to chase you....
But yeah, there's no logical reason to stay and fight as a pirate... I mean... Pirates steal and run away so they can steal another day... .... yeah....

I think we are all agreed here. Mixing R and X is not possible. Players with these tags will be asked to delete them. ADMIN and VOID will assist in transfers if necessary.
For once I agree with Berserker ..... ;)

well i see frac banned one of them today there was anouther one on this morning also [R]aider[X]. he was grouped with cobra.
oh and triad cobra i would make sure they dont use your nick or someone might think it is you. i always tell new players who try and use my name "not to use it please, saves on confusion". i had a new player come on as Eagle_One the other day only thing missing was the [KBA] my m8's thought it was me untill i came on and talked to them. this person would not answer my green or even the voids green so he was kicked.
From what it seems a [R] with an additional [X] tag should basically cancel out the ability to Tax. Despite in the modern void world, plenty of pirates attack with no warning and don't tax and some rogues don't always attack.
Since the downfall of the Pirate RP, there is little to separate a pirate from a rogue.
Sorry to go off topic , but I just want to know what Xenon is trying to get at when he mentions my sig? What does <):) mean after a sentence. Can anybody clear this up for me?
I think he is trying to wind me up about the sig but I aint sure lol.[quote="=ESF=XENON";p="155420"]
PS: CUTTER , your Sig is Wonderful art man , Extremely Advanced Super Professional Colors contrast <):)
Someone mentioned the rp question. Here it is as it was by foundation of these tags.
Rogue - [R] - is a chaotic evil. He lives only for himself. He can do something good, and next second kill the one he helped. Everything in his life he consider in credits. Or the momentaly advantage. You can buy him for one fight and in second round he will be bought by other side. He is doing what he want, when he want. Nothing matters how crazy could it be. As Ramsanator mentioned, Rogue have not to be evil, but what I saw, only a three ppl really played true nautral, naturally they only fire upon everything, so...but Ramsanator is right.
Pirate - [X] - is lawful evil. He is living from the other ppls work. But he also lives with accordance to code of honour. Alwya help a pirate (not scumback). Always follow your orders. Always make everything for your people. Always fight the hand of law (hunters, police, NAVY....etc), if no agreement is possible. Always make profit.
I think only a few ppl playing now can remember the foundation of these tags. But [R] altogeter with [X] is really....uhm....dumb.

Dungeons and Dragons 3rd Edition couldn't have said it any better.... oh, wait, they DID say that.
On the general average you would be right, but let's not confuse alignment an actual class boundary.
Consider this: A rogue could be a pure neutral.
Being a rogue (s)he would be perfectly free to go out and commit a horribly evil act...but they would probably then go out and balance it out with a righteous act.
For the most part I agree, but I just wanted to point out that in the Void you don't have to play a rogue play by chaotic evil doctrine. You could be chaotic neutral, true neutral, or completely run outside the confines of D&D and play it as your whim dictates.
Good guidelines you have stated, though. Yes.

m8's its simple, rogue and pirate char should'nt go together its not fair ,as all of u agree
so, i ask admins to delete chars of such nature, i dont mean to be rude, just delete char, not ban the player
its confusing to see rogue and pirate char all in 1, u dunno what to expect, if u see rogue, uxpect killing u, i f u see pirate u expect taxing u........but both tags:(
really confuses all players and its sad, hope i made my piont
cya all in space, have fun and enjoy:)
