To All Clan Leaders Regarding AoF Diplomacy

Hello to all clan leaders and otherwise  

As u would have noted already AoF has now pirate amidst its ranks and right now there is major upheaval and confusion in VOID circles regarding diplomacy with AoF .

The problem being-

AoF X Wing.

I Have a Humble Request and Plea For All Clan Leaders In Void- :-SS

Please Make a separate diplomacy for AoF X Wing which should be different from the diplomacy of AoF Main Body comprising of AoF T and A Wing.

I Will Give u the reasons why-
1)AoF is Not a Clan!!!!-

AoF-Alliance of Freelancers is an association of freelancers.In the past we did not represent pirates of Void but now we have decided to represent them by forming a separate wing.
It is more of a guild than a clan with the presence of tags being the difference.
Tag only shows he is affliated with AoF and nothing else.He may or may not follow AoF common diplomacy.
It was created on the basis of freedom for freelancers.

2)AoF Doesnt Have a Common RP-

By Creating X Wing AoF is not becoming a Pirate Clan!!!

We have many dedicated Traders in our ranks.

We had and never will have a common RP so that AoF remains open to all freelancers.

SEPARATE AND AUTONOMOUS-

AoF X Wing is an autonomous wing of AoF.It is more of an extension of AoF rather than the main wing.

It will have its leaders.
It will have its own diplomacy which will be separate from AoF diplomacy for T and A Wing.

AoF A and T Wing comprise the AoF Main Body.
The X Wing is as said above an extension!!!!

Moreover AoF Alpha Fighter Wing that is A Wing for normal freelancers will not mingle with X Wing.!!!The two will never assist each other in battle.

Naturally u will ask what would happen in a war between one friend of AoF that is navy and other friend of AoF X Wing that is Pirate then =AoF Will remain inert.
As it is AoF cannot go to war together becasue it is not a clan but an assoication with various different reasons.


I hope with the above reasons furnished above Clan Leaders will take of my Plea to split their AoF Diplomacy into half one for AoF Main Body and other for its X Wing.

Its my humble request the rest depends on u.

Please understand what AoF is and what it stands for.

Yeah, you are mostly traders, pirates should be your biggest enemies together with rogues if I am right..  
Now.. will you be neutral to pirates just because they have same tag before nick as you ?

Hm correct me someone if I am wrong but I think pirates aren't freelacers.

For me freelancers are pilots without any tag in nick. If he has [X] in name he isn't freelancer for me but he's pirate so why he has also tag of freelancers. Just thought

Yes, I think it's very easy.

We're traders. And we trade everything with everyone. That means I can have many bad encounters with police trading cardamine (f.ex.  :D  ). If I ask for escort to our fighters I'll need a pirate wing. Obvius. And against pirates I'll need our A wing.

And we still neutral. We won't attack if you don't. Remember this from our history:

We will be your enemy if there is a profit to be made. This is a fluid and flexible market. All negotiations will be kept mostly at a PM level with very little being revealed to all. You will all know something about [AoF] but never everything. Btw about never assisting A wing....if someone attack A wing or T wing of AoF, the X wing can be paid for assist....that doesn't work on the other side I suppose.

Ok - to answer DESTROYER - Any AoF member, whether T, A or X (oooh that spells TAX)  - will not attack each other or tax each other because they are in the same "association" or "union" if you will.   What it does allow is for AoF to expand its commercial enterprises into the field of Crime and Piracy, but remain a separate entity when it comes to Trading and Fighting.  

Maybe the slogan could read "We Fight, We Trade, We Rob" but I dont think the corporate PR department would allow that - bad publicity and all ...  ;)

I was unable to get my head round the whole X tag for AoF in the early days of my presidency as we were still having problems with the whole "Not A Clan" issue.  Looks like most of the VOID have begun to get into this whole idea and that AoF with Geromix in charge the "Association" has gone from strength to strength.  I ducked out to go startup the -=REAVERS=- but it makes me proud to see the AoF getting stuck into the RP  - which is just as difficult as the RP that -=REAVERS=- have chosen.

Even though we are pirates ... We have a few differences with common pirates ... that is we will try our best not to attack our own T and A wings and Allies of AOF and in fact might even provide some protection from other pirates as its more likely that they would keep our request since we are of a same kind . thats the basic rule for this Pirate wing no attacking friends or allies , But also ..... there can be exceptions right

The [BBB] will not need to change there Diplomacy with AoF as you are already neutral with us and our diplomacy Stance states that all R and X tagged pilots are potentially KOS.

Now to answer ur questions-

I agree to ur terms and conditions.I will be making a separate post on this one so that AoF members know about it.
My only question to u would be as i put it in my PM to u-Would u attack a player who is in X Wing in his trader char even if he is in his AT?

To answer ur question-AoF-Alliance of Freelancers.
According to me a Freelancer is a player who is not following a single RP.Clans follow only one RP-Order,Navy or Pirate etc.A freelancer according to his own wishes changes his rep when he wants to.
In effect a Freelancer is a master of himself and doesnt want to be a part of a clan.The reason why AoF was built was to service these freelancers who dont want to be in a clan but yet be part of an organisation.
A Freelancer is somebody who is more than someone who doesnt have a tag.
A non-Freelancer player would be part of a clan.
Hence there could be a freelancing pirate.
And ofcourse all rogues are freelancers because they are not part of a clan and can never be in one.I believe that is why server rules are the way it is like now.
AoF is at best an "Alliance" that is subject to many changes,between many freelancers of different RPs.

Most probably X Wing members wont tax Traders.Infact that is unlikely to the extent of only 1% chance that could happen.
Like Carthoo said everything is possible.I hope u and 4S_SQUAD understand us.

A Final note-
I have tried my best to make this happen.
And i again appeal to all clans to please please understand us.
This is very complex no doubt that but it is not impossible.
