Been here for around 1 year, 2 months.

I guess the feeling of a veteran must come when almost everyone around you seems new and most of your friends who have once played have disappeared. I agree with Thorn in that even sticking it out 1 month here seems long enough, let alone a year.

I think its more down to time spent here and experience, not necessarily down to pure PVP skill. Of course players will transfer from server to server and take with them a considerable amount of skill from their previous environment. Once you've been through enough milestone battles, events, tournaments and bear the scars, seen systems, weapons and rules change, then the feeling starts to come on.

I been here a long while.  First person who ever helped me out was [PT]Bjecas.  He showed me the ins and outs of Void and who to avoid at the time in the server.  Then he suddenly disappeared.  Never heard from him again.

Whatever happened to the [PT] clan I don't know  :([/quote]


Well Bjecas was a great mate, never saw him again also. I still have my PT char and sometimes one or other player comes around but most of the clan took off to the unknown.

Btw, Vets? We all know who they are when we see them, and it's not about dates.. it's about know-how and charisma.

Aaaah, Dork Diablo I remember that man very well, we were good buddies and he learned me a lot when I was noob here.

Together with Syndicate Ashta they were very good friends for me and I miss them so much. Of course there are lots of good players who already gone and we miss em a lot.
The worst on that all is when your good friend left from one day to another and you haven't heard anything about him to present time  :-<

Been here since void104 mod... Wonder how long ago that was... more than 3 years anyway.

And what makes a veteran.. that is the mindset, not the time online.
When beaten, a veteran comes back for more. He learns from his mistakes, and is victourious next time.
And if he isn't victourious, he acknowledges the winner (with a "gf" fior example).

I started to be veteran the day that I noticed that most of the players online joined VOID much more later than me. Veteran in VOID is the same that in other things in live: You did, you experimented, you saw, you participated, you talked, you were there, etc...Veterany is the knowledge you get with experience
