[Strail]

The mod is open for release and most of the bugs are resolved, however, one or two remain.

Please download from:

People who have already downloaded the "M" version, its not critical to download it, however, this fixs the crash in tau 29 and a few other things.

Work will continue on the mod, but this release will be the final one before it updates.

In summmary, to be safe, install this version if you want the latest one.

Do we need to uninstall version M in order to install this one, or is this just an add-on to version M?

No - you do not need to uninstall the old version.

One of the beauties of using .exe is the fact that new versions ( full downloads )
and updates ( small patches ) do not require an uninstall or even a back up.

( please note that players who do not have a copy of the Freelancer disk
should always keep a current back up .. better safe then sorry we say )

There is always a potential problem with some players trying to join the server without the proper updates installed.

If the update is critical to the operation of the server .. we will temporarily password the server from time to time.

Please watch the Void website for all important infomation regarding server status.

@ Fracture: Thanks for clearing that up. If this is only a minor bug patch then i wasn't planning on doing all that to install it, but if its just a matter of download and install it shouldn't be a problem. I'll take care of it right now.

@Strail and rest of Void Mod team: Bloody job well done guys. (No, i'm not british, but i like using that term anyways). It'll probably take me forever to figure out all this mod has to offer, which is good b/c I'll be with you guys for a while. Kudos to you all!

Very Very nice indeed. The void is really is a wonderful place. I was wondering, maybe , on the next mod we could play each other at poker,chess,backgammon,stuff like that,in the bars. That would be wicked.  :)
