As some of you might know, I am about to build my own house. A lot of time - about 9 months - has passed making preparations. Getting the needed permits, sorting out the best suppliers, designing the house ofcourse, making a planning for it all, etc.

And now we are finally in the final stages of preparation and about to set off. Digging will begin in a couple of weeks. In the weeks before that, I am very busy with sorting all kinds of stuff out. The months after that I will be occupied with the actual construction of the house.
I will do most of the work in the evening and the weekends, so it'll take some time. It will probably take up to a full year building and finishing the whole house.

Obviously, I will not have the time to play Freelancer during the construction period. I just might peek around the corner on rare occasions, but don't count on it. Most of my rare spare time I will spend fishing, the most relaxing pastime there is.  :D

Ofcourse, I will not be around enough to fulfill my role as a clan leader and (HKD) forum admin.
For this reason I will leave HKD Command in the more then capable hands of my good friend Apocalypse, and I hereby assign -=HKD=-MAJ*Integrity as my replacement. This means he will be acknowledged as clan leader until further notice. He deserved it.

In the rare occasion of me getting online, I will act as a regular clan member, though I won't bother to change my tag.

I can only hope I will see most of you again when I return to this great community. My respect and special thanks go out to the following community members:

Apocalypse, for his everlasting loyalty and true friendship. Keep the boat afloat while I'm gone brother! You have done a lot for this community, of which nobody knows. It would be great to see you make it as a Server Guard soon. We will stay in touch my friend.

Integrity, for his proven loyalty to our clan. He has done much and will get far. You deserved your part in the clan command m8. Hats off.

Zeus, for his friendship, outstanding spirit, exemplary dedication and integrity. M8, you are an example to anyone here! Good luck with your 'projects'. I sincerely hope we will meet again.

Zebulon, for being who he is. I have great respect for the way you present your principles and maintain the server rules, even though it sometimes makes for dealing with a lot of cr@p from players who don't see this. Carry on as you have always done m8, this community needs you.

Vector-x, for reasons he will understand. A great admin with a listening ear for everyone. Please keep at it now that I'm gone m8. You know what I mean. And good luck with your Dutch.  :P

Infinity, for never seizing to amaze me with his great graphical talents. You have done a lot for me. And the best of luck with your police training m8.

And ofcourse Strail and the A-Team, for creating and maintaining such an astounding server for us to play on. Your dedication and efforts for this server are greatly appreciated.
I had an awesome time playing here. Keep up the good work guys. make sure it's still here when I return!

To everyone I forgot to mention:
Thanks a bunch for the great fights, the nice talks and the good or not so good arguments.

In general: Keep this place a decent one. Stay friendly to eachother. And treat everyone with the same respect. We are all just people and this is just a game to relax in. Don't forget that.

My credits are for Apocalypse and Integrity. Use them well.

To Admins: is there a way to safe or backup my chars present stats? I just spent a lot of time on making a good rep... Would be nice if they are still here when I come back.

@Osiris: Thanks for the offer. I work for a construction company as a carpenter myself and building houses is one of the things I do, just like you. We always build them with just 2 of us. So I think I'll manage. But you can give me a hand next time you drop by in Holland.  :D

@The rest: I will be making lots of photos during the project. I'll post some of them here as work progresses.
