New Void-RP

After reading the other replies, I think I was a bit hasty with my enthusiasm. It's true, this would be a bit too much rp for this server. Like Babieca said, Void is a mixed server. This idea will make it a 100% RP server, and that wasn't Strail's intension when he designed it I suppose. Nor is it the wish of the players who are not interested in a rp career. These players should have a place here too.
However, the title 'mixed' server also includes the possibility to play RP for players who wish to do so. For this reason rp tags have been implemented a while ago. They are used, but the problem lies in the performance of actual rp. Very few players really do a proper job playing true rp.

That brings us back to some other threads about improving rp on the Void.
In my opinion, it all falls back to the way we play rp. Doing this in a good way, would solve a whole lot of rp related issues. This has been a subject to discussion for a long time. And like some of you have said, we will get now where if there is no action taken on this.

But there will be a first effort very soon.

Look what i have noticed and its bloody true aswell, people have made to many friends on this server from either side good/evil, its not a bad thing its a good thing because atleast you can have some good chats from boths sides.

Anyways people made to many friends got too friendly now they wont shoot each other even if they are both clashing RP! if they do get attacked by there buddy that is say an [X] then he thinks its personal well get a life its a game and its RPing its not a personal attack. Also they just sit around asking for PvP's like they are both in a Navy clan or something, and i must say its pretty pathetic lol and its some of the people who do that are complainin on these RP threads which have been alot of them lately, oh and guys remember why wait for admin say so?? they cant tell you how to RP an Order faction (which kills nomads not pirates)  Or anything else, the thing they do is step in if they think you are crossing a line with the rules.

I think you're both absolutely right. A lot of the players aren't able to divide gameplay and RL. If they have a buddy in a hostile clan, they often choose to 'spare their life' when they run into eachother rather then engaging. Because they are afraid that the other would get p!ssed at them for doing so. Why? I don't get it. Why NOT try and kill a bud? If you are true buddies, you wouldn't blame eachother from doing so would you? It's a game! I had a lot of fights with acquainted co-players because our RP's were hostile, and we had the biggest laugh! It's cool to have a good fight with one of your buds and either win or loose. We all know that, because in Sparta exactly the same happens, and there nobody has problems with being killed by a bud.
Ofcourse players have to have the opportunity to chat, but this can be done in NY or even Sparta for all I care. After all, Sparta is considered by most to be a pvp arena, rather then a RP area, somewhat separated of the rest of Sirius. Strictly taken, this wouldn't be right, but I have to confess that I am also guilty of chatting to hostile players in Sparta. But like I said, I consider it to be a pvp arena, more then a RP area. Although EFZ would be a more appropriate place for this.

We just have to remember that this is a game and we play it to have some fun. Also, it is a 'server to fight on', as everyone can read in the welcome message you see when you log on. And what could be more fun then fighting eachother???

I guess you guys are right, now I actually see what's going on Discovery.........you ARE RIGHT, no pvps at all almost........their numbers blinded me, like apple which is nice on it's look, but inside worms live  :D .


I pointed to my friends discovery and they are going to downlad their mod, but I guess..., no, I will tell them right now to download this mod, I see that people here actually open your eyes very well, I realize that I like RP, but pvp is better




Ok, we may close this topic, but it would be nice when [R] or [X] wouldn't just be 1K away from Navy player and just sit relaxed.............I guess that's the only thing that I don't like..........

Im new to void and FL MP,but i think i got an idea already about the void

If u Tag u char,u RP....U Have [R]Char,so u kill kill kill kill.....and u stop when u get killed xD
U dont ask for pvp,u dont swear,u just use the words "tax" and "gf" !

If u dont tag ur char,u are free to do whatever u want(aslong u dont breake the rules!)


The problem is,that taged ppl dont behave like they suposed to,expecialy [R]`s.

Either u start behave (tax & kill),or i sugest the admis start kicking/deleting [R]Fake`s.

This is just my opinion
