ok little introduction..

Was poped in few days ago into the VOID heh ..

and what do i see ?
Eagle again so popular, ok made some pvp's even if i am  rusty atm had some fun
Then i decided to try Eagle that was sick...
OK Wa1 is one of faster ships here (talking about HF and turning rates)
Eagle is VHF so logicaly his turn rate mustn't be very fast...

But FFS my eyes got sick from that speed prolly that ship was messed up coz i feelt like flying in starflier ...

Even the 10cls Shield ofcourse nomad one with regen enchancer and lasers rofl its sick....

u know the view when u turn was insane i couldnt even aim well (after wa1 its definetely too fast turn)
I asked few ppl around is its everything ok with eagle . they said its bugged (sold it the same minute i heard that )
So maybe it must be done smth coz fighting that ship is immposible... I mean fighting (guns not that spamm as i see here atm )......
so what your thoughts ppl ?

It is simple, and any experimented pilot can see it. Eagle is unbalanced, it overturns any other VHF by far. Some ppl use it because they are not enough good and they feel better killing with adventage.
Others use it just because they like eagle, but if you say them to stop fighting they do because they know that eagle is better  that any other ship in VOID.

I think that 2 eagles fighting are funny, but just 2 eagles. Anyway, if I want fly eagle I go to a not modded server, but it is just my opinion

Yes its bugged it has been like that for a while. I fly a Viper with brawling setup, witch is unlogical, but i like the ship and i cant snipe. I lose alot, because i havnt had the practice, but when i fight against the eagle i would have to do it with the mine, because they are always on my tail
There is nothing we can do eccept wait for an fix.
Or just be bad yourself and fly a TC and do hit and run <):)

I think fighting Eagles can be pretty fun lol, u know gives more of a challenge adds to the experience, but i have never flown one properly cuz i hate that god damn middle wing  :D

Babieca i saw a guy which was flying after rogue.... rogue was telling that he wont fight an eagle and so on but that guy still was catching him (darn ok i understand rogues are rogues and thats RP) but wtf to frustrate someone with that darn eagle if guy says he wont fight lol ...

Blazin m8 good point that it adds some challenge but comparing for egsample Anubis(VHF) vs Eagle(VHF) well that is just not fun when eagle turn is almost twice fast then Anubis

Well anubis VS Eagle u just have to take your turns alot sooner then usual to get the fatty around so u can start shooting, but i also find that the Eagle cant take that much damage as it used to, so basically its very very weak, one torp and its pretty much lost wings and weaps ect ect.

Most ships have their abilities and there weak points i just see the eagle as a normal ship with special attributes.

For example Anubis MK2 is very slow but it has the uber fire power and armour

Eagle fast but its uber weak, but does have fire power

Also the Eagle is actually pretty small and the shape of it would make it aerodynamic so it would be pretty possible for it to be faster then most ships in its class.

This discussion has been going on for a long time. Maybe it's bugged or not perfectly balanced, I don't know. The fact is that it is an extraordinary difficult ship to fight and defeat. If you don't like it, don't fly it, so you did right there in my opinion.
Personally, I don't fly it, because I see it's agility as an unfair advantage to my opponent, whether it is bugged, partially imbalanced or just perfectly fine. I avoid fighting it, because mostly they are lost fights before they even start.. Except when I feel like getting pwnd.
But like Strail said: if it is in the game, you can fly it. If you think this would be a fair thing to do, is a matter of personal insight and opinion.

On non modded servers its the best ship to use, And I agree with shonensan on that its not the ship, its the player behind it.

I havent yet had the joy of fighting an eagle here yet.

but i do agree, technically ALL the vanilla ships should have something bumped up to match the modded ones.

Viper = 2 class 8 slots, 4 class 10, 2 disruptor/torp slots (altho y cant i mount 2 disruptors, not fair) and alot of armour to match, the eagle has one torp/disruptor slot but 2 class 9 slots, less armour but an awesome turn speed. I fail to see the difference?

isn't it like the sabre vs eagle? sabre = mass damage low turn....eagle = less damage but good turn.

Ill test it out and see how fair it can be in a fight.

the thing i dont get is, WHY refuse to fight a ship?
Back on jolt.co.uk, at one point when a drake killed an eagle the drake stole 1mill from the eagle for the kill, we avoided them when possible but we would still hunt the little things down!

fighting you lose NOTHING, from what i've seen you guys lack alot of RP and just want to fight all day...whats more glorious than beating an enemy that has an advantage over you?!

And that's the truth. However, as much as it is your choice to buy it, fly it and kill in it, it is another player's choice not to fight you or even buy the Eagle. Please just respect eachother's decisions, as long as it is within the boundaries of the server rules.

Forgive me if 'm wrong, but this seems directed to me personally. I don't know how you come to the conclusion that there are only 2 types of players here on Void. As you say: 'noob spammers' or 'skilled players'.  And on that note, why you think that I like noob spammers because I don't like the Eagle. Seriously, there's no logic in this. There are plenty of skilled players, who do not fly the Eagle. And I like fighting with them. The fact that you want 'veteran players' back, indicates that you don't recognize the presence of current other veteran fighters on Void. What's up with that? You think you are the only real veteran left?  =D> Do you really feel that good about yourself that you ask Strail to bring back veterans, in order for you to have fun in the first place? Your post has an unhappy and slightly aggravated undertone. If you don't like it here.... well, you know the rest m8.
Don't feel personally attacked when I say that choosing to fly the Eagle is a personal decision. The fact that I don't like flying or fighting the Eagle, doesn't automatically mean that I look down on players that do. Like I said, this is all about personal taste and preference. Hope you understand.

this is my personel reason as fianna and im probly the one who thinks clear on this topic

1: this topic should never been post because it welcomes flames admins should close it down ASP

2:Shonesan if u havnt heard theres a lot of veterans still here[aka most of TDA zeb orions etc] and dont take offence

3:If a ship is sold on void then its flyable

4:this is one of the resones A- team sick and tired of us[we not a community were a bunch of moaners]

5: and last of all i couldnt careless if someone is flying a eagle or mk2 or anything its a game and games are not to be played like ur life depended on it its for haveing fun and thats it
