Re: VOID PVP training sessions
@Tetra: You can use this thread to get in contact with a trainer. So as soon as several 'more experienced' players have posted here, saying that they wouldn't mind teaching others one or two things, you can reply to one or more of them and approach them to make an appointment either by posting on this thread or by sending them a pm, which ever you prefer. This thread is to get some vet players posted here, so new players will be able to know who they are, so they can arrange a 'date'.
So good luck m8. If you have any more questions, let me know.

Re: VOID PVP training sessions
My pvp skills are...at best...well...basic.
If there's anybody new in town who wants the basics on pvp, I'll be happy to help out. If you want anything beyond that...you'll have to ask the veterans.
If you're interested, green me.
My characters are Warcow, [X]_W/\RCOW_[X], and =|S[T]U|=Rabidbear.
And if there are any veterans out there who are willing to teach me the more advanced stuff, I would greatly appreciate it.

We're making a list.
We're checking it twice.
We're gonna find out who's naughty or nice.
The I.S.B. is coming...to town.

Re: VOID PVP training sessions
Okay, i would like to learn to fight better on this happy server.
I can already fight on vanilla very well but the differences on void are...difficult.
I fight using missiles and proper positioning, i'm not a good gunner its not what im adept at
I just want to learn a bit about the flight dynamics and how the secondary autolevel can be used etc etc, generally i feel like a noob again on this server..
I play ingame as a few names - NigglyWiggly - [RFB]III[x]
Some of you might have seen me, some might not. Ill offer cash if you can help me with the dynamics of void, what i do NOT want is someone telling me that using EK willl benefit me, i already have enough experience with general flying to beat most...best part is, ill pay for valuable help :x

Re: VOID PVP training sessions
Well as i said before im not that good, because there are so many great players living in the Void.
I feel like living in the shadows, but if people want an target to practice on I'll be in EFZ with my pvp ship.
The ship for training is called Inf1n1ty_PvP
If you want to train with/against me you can also contact my other chars; Inf1n1ty, [Development_Team]Copywrighter, Nomads-Nomad_Slave_1.
Oh dont bother greening -=REAVERS=-Inf1n1ty, because i wont brake the silence rule
Oh and you can also PM me.
Scream On, Inf.

Re: VOID PVP training sessions
Alright, I just spend over one hour removing over 55 posts from this thread which either contained flames, personal or general, or were just off-topic. Sad how few valid posts we have left now... From the 76 replies, we now have about 20 left. Some of you have publicly apologized, for which they have my appreciation. However these posts were also removed because they were all related to the ones mentioned above.
Special thanks to Strail for making this possible.
I have explained myself more than enough I think, so anyone posting flames or off-topics on this thread from now on, will find his post edited or removed without further notice or comment. These posts will also be reported to the staff. Keep it clean. You have been warned.
Now let's make this thread a fruitful one again and start using it for the purpose I had intended it for: a thread where Void members - new or regular - can benefit from.
To sum it up again for the ones who missed it:
Anyone who wants to improve his fighting (pvp) skills, can post his request here in this thread. It doesn't matter if you are either a new visitor to the Void, or an experienced member who just wants to enhance his fighting skills. Anybody is welcome to do so.
At the same time, the Void members who have above-average skills, or believe they can teach somebody something in this area, can post here also. As Molten pointed out, it would be a good thing if you could tell us what your preferred fighting style is, newbies or veterans alike.
This way, we can bring the ones in need of a little help, and the ones who can offer some, closer together.
If a trainee has found a suitable trainer, or the other way 'round ofcourse, they can make arrangements for ingame training sessions. These arrangements can be made either here on this thread or by PM-ing eachother. The training sessions are to be held in the system which was designed especially for this occasion: EFZ (Elite Fight Zone) - regenning not allowed.
Whether a trainee will have to pay the trainer for his services, is all up to both parties to figure out. If you can reach an agreement in this, that's great.
Mind you that a training session is not about showing your superiority, but to help a fellow community member getting his skills up. Trainees who experience unwanted situations with their trainer in any way, can turn them selfs to one of the Admins or Server Guards and report the situation. They will deal with it. If you can't reach either of them, you can send a PM to me and I will get it in the right place. Make sure you support your story with some SS's.
Please don't use this thread to post about these events.
A final note: This thread is not about an event of some kind, just to shorten the lines between under-averaged and above-averaged fighters. It can be hard for some people to take on the challenge to take up fights with veteran players, and bite through the pain of repeated defeat before they get better. Although some of us have chosen this way to improve their skills, it is not everybody's way to go. For these people I intended this thread.
Training sessions times, payments, number of sessions, and everything else is all up to the trainee and trainer to sort out.
This thread is merely a way of establishing contacts.
Now without further ado: start putting in requests and availabilities. Everybody remember to have fun and good luck with your training! :D

Re: VOID PVP training sessions
Those that are willing to teach - advertise here. Those who wish to be taught can send the willing instructor a PM and they can sort out Date / Time / Place. Personaly I feel that renumeration for services is somewhat unecessary. Think of it this way. Whats the point in being the "best" when you are not presented with fresh challenges? Train up some decent opposition and make it at the very least - more rewarding. Scalding the inexperienced players stops being fun and is nothing more than pointless frag generation.
Keep it on topic or get it erased. You got nothing constructive to say? Dont say it here!

Re: VOID PVP training sessions
Thanks for dropping in Zeb, I appreciate it.
Though most pvp-related questions trainees would have will be dealt with in game, I think that potential trainees should also be able post them here if they want feel the need for it.
It gives them a chance to get help from a wider public. There are many here who can help you out if you have a question.
