Clan clean up and Discussion

Valid point - it has to be 5 SEPARATE members lol  - funny I thought that was obvious - but heyho...!  :D

EDIT:  Can we keep this on topic please - this is NOT about individual clans but about how clans come into being and the parameters for a Clean Up around the VOID and not for self serving propaganda - thanks.

as i said, clearing out old clan sections is a good start. if they want to come back they would be happily welcomed to start again like all the new clans...

that would clear at least 11 of the locked forums onsite...provding room for new clans.

i also think its safe to say i make a contribution of soem kind on the forum...  :D  :P  ;)  <):)


EDIT: ive just visited a whole load of clan sites today and i think they all starting to take this to the brain as survival comes.if u all intend to open news services we may need a few more boards  <):) .

zeb i agree i think i said it before earlier they need to work for it just a little.

i agree 100% with strail on the old clan that are here and have prove they are not leaving.

shonen m8 i dont know why you are set on getting after the kba and bbb. those 2 clan make up a large group of the voids and admin on this server( yes there are other also, i said large group not all)   and with out their help strail would be pulling his hair out trying to run this thing. not to mention all the other ways they have helped out over the years.  so their" nonactivity" in your words is what helps keep all of this going. i think you would be better to name the clans that are dead like say[ bro.] (example)

my question is if you have a none roleplay clan , is the clan news then going to be about clan missions against the nomads or outcast? would that be ok to meet requirements?

m8 i am not kba any more but they are on every day, i said this before. i just talk to them last night. i seen you come on game yesterday and i was here when you left. but there are more than 4 or 5 hours in a day. the other 19 to 20 hours of the day the server still runs m8 and alot of players play. i have a very different job than most so i play almost at any hour from about 6am  all the way around to 3am my time i can be on the server. so i see everyone coming and going. remember the usa players dont come on till most the players from eruope are going to bed. also it is not in the past to say the server is greatly helped by the kba and bbb admin and voids everyday m8, just because you dont see something does not mean its not there.

and m8 you never seen me fight as a kba i dont pvp but i have more time on this server in my chars than almost anyone. there are only like 2 or 3 other players who have been here as much, that does not mean we are not active we just chose to play the game different than you.

that is not past glory it is the here and now m8.

shonensan have you got your head in a bucket I'm on the Void at least 4-5 hours every day i also don't pvp very often but i always  help new and old players out with advice on where to get the best ships, trade routes and such, generally friendly to all and that goes for the rest of the BBB and the KBA.

I thought that this post was about the inactivity on the forum of some of the clans? or was I wrong? Forgive me here but I feel that I need to say that most of the people who play here are not at school therefore we have more serious things to see to, like real life families and jobs. In other words we are here to escape from the real world not to have some one complaining and singling us out cos we are'nt advertising ourselves in red underwear and neon lighting every time we come on to play.

shonen read this please  I AM NOT KBA ANYMORE i am a freelancer, yes the kba do attack pirates.
i did some checking to make sure i am not off my nut. the kba have had 8 members on in last month,  7 in last week. i dont call that "inactive". also it is not all about roleplay bud. you like that stuff great have a blast. i am not big into the role play, i dont pvp very much been trying to learn but it is not what i "ENJOY DOING" now if my enjoyment does not meet with your strick ideal of what you should do when on game, well tuff, its not a role play server if it were i would be gone.

to me this is not about the kba or bbb or knights. you keep throwing the same clans out there and they are here. my point was these clan are representing on the game. and just because they dont play the way you want them to does not mean they are not active, or deserver to be kicked out, that goes for any clan.

now many on your list need to go,  i agree some are so dead they dont even have char from the past 6 months. those are the ones we need to be looking for, they are taking up space and making alot of unnessary cluter on the forums and the web page.

oh and before i deleted my clan char i was number 3 in total time m8 if i get it cloned you will see them again. oh and i dont trade much m8. not navy not my worry to attack pirates. freelancer now.

mrs. asmodeus lol well said. its like the guy who has to have a thread to say he does not cheat lol. we play we go to work we play we go to bed no fan fair, no parade, just because we dont have our names pop up on the screen every few minutes for killing or being killed does not mean we are not here. lol i thought is was a game for enjoyment, i do what i enjoy doing period.

strail i do have a question. there has not been a player clean up for some time. i see char on rank list that have not been here this year.

question are you planing on a char clean up any time soon? thanks.

m8 i just told you that some of this clan have had 8 players on in july alone. but it does not matter. you said it if they are not on when you are on they are not active. so you win i lose i was not arguing with you just trying to point out your are wrong when you say some clan are not active. however seeing how to be active means you must play during a narrow 4 hour period everyday then i guess they are not.

so lets get this straight, what needs to happen is an entire server wipe of all players and clans. also remove all clan sections make every clan reapply to be a clan on the server. start all over from scratch. make the server so that if you are a clan you must stick strickly to your clan role play failer to would lead to your removal as a clan. if you are navy you need to be group chasing pirates and rogue all night if you are pirates then be out there taxing at all time. eveil clans should be looking for navy at all time. everyone should be shooting at someone at all times total chaos at all time. no exployering that does not fit into clan roleplay, except the aof they are here to make money. no money making just pvp al the time.

second  all clan must play during the 4 hours aday that you are here and pvp you so you can see that they are active. playing any other time will not count toward your clan activity.

last all clan must spam the forums at least one time a week to show they are here, it might be total crap and not matter to the server but they posted.

do i have this all straight, when you look at it like that dont make much since does it, but that is exacly what you have said to all the rest of us. recruit player that play when everyone else does? you recruit players to play when you do so you can enjoy the game togeather. oh and everything i have said is in total referance to clans not single players.

i bow to your superior wisdom and knowledge of the game, and how it should realy be played. i guess there is no place for me here on this server because i dont want to play like that never have. so i need to find some box server and stay out of your way, and quit taking up space.

this is my last post as i have been proven wrong on everything i thought the void was about for the last 3 years. oh and m8 i have over 1700 hours on my clan char  over the past 3 years and anouther 1000+ hours on my other char. and that is with a 4 month break in 2006.
