With the server being down, I decided to give the singleplayer mode another shot. It worked fine with the Void mod still activated. But when I saw I had to start the game being dumped somewhere in Omicron Minor with the mission objective to dock at planet Toledo, when there was nothing but open uninhabited space around me and no planet in sight for the next 10000000 K, I realized I should deactivate the Void mod to play SP.
So I did, and tried again. Now, as soon as I hit the 'New Game' button, Freelancer CTD's and I get an error report. It looks like this:
Translated into English it says that Windows can't load the installation program for NET (beats me what that is) and I have to consult my hardware provider for help. This message is followed by the 'Freelancer encountered an error and cannot continue..... Send or don't send report'-message.
Clicking any other button like 'Load Game' works just fine. I reinstalled the game, no changes.
I played the singleplayer mode before, and it was just fine. Anyone knows what this is about?
When I decided it would be best to just die, I noticed I can fly into either one of the three present start, even bump into them without breaking a sweat.
Next to the 3 stars, space in Omi Minor is absolutely empty, nothing on the radar as well. I made 2 laps circling the map, I encountered nothing.
I also noticed that my mission logs have been updated to a point which looks pretty far in the SP mode.
Right, it's sorted. Turned out I needed an additional file to make SP mode work with the Void mod running.
Anyone who encounters the same issue can contact me, I'll send you the needed file.
Thanks a lot m8!

Well, let's see. There's a program to modify ini files, a program that allows me to use a full ADMIN setup ship for pvp and a program I use for hacking the Void site on a regular basis without being detected.
Hi Mav! Don-t try anything, cause it don-t work! The problem is, "Navyes r invaded the SP mode ,and make invisible the planets,4 y!" :D ;) B-) :-h (no ofense m8!)
Oh no, not the Navy again. starting to look like they are the only real bad guys here. They would better prepare for some serious pwning when the server is back up.
ran into the same problem, though for me, it behaved like the entire game was wiped after I deactivated the mod(despite the folders and everything still being there) ...only had the install option, after which normal SP storyline worked, and after 3 attempts was able to re-activate the mod(after uninstalling it properly, deleting the mod,and installing everything again from scratch)
