How are you today? I'm Jason Overstreet with the Colony News Network. May I have a minute of your time?
Okay, thank you. I'm conducting a survey for an article I'm writing on Adam Hartman and the Sons of Malta. Do you agree with their recent actions, especially the attack on the Dacia base?
And one more question: would you mind being quoted in the article once it's completed?
I'm trying to get it done by the end of the week, so the poll will run for two days.
Thank you for your time!

Re: Colony News Network Survey
Zebulon Antarxes was concerned at the recent activities of a bunch of terrorists operating in Omicron Alpha. Not that Zeb was ever against a bit of subversion now and again particularly if it involved profit for the AoF. Unfortunately this had occured outwith his usual sphere of influence and as such that was of a concern to him. Zeb normaly had his finger on the pulse of things in the Sirius sector, from piracy to policing and from trading to treachery. This was something that would bear a closer examination. Word had come to him that some of the influence of the ideals of the Sons of Malta had seeped into the X wing of the AoF - this of course is a part of the AoF that Zebulon was very clear to deny any responsibility for as part of the AoF - plausible deniability, always the watchwords of politicians and businessmen throughout the Sirius systems. Faceless operatives were not new to Zeb - he employed plenty of them. This however was a worrying development as the increased scrutiny by the law would make it more difficult for some of Zeb's "off record" schemes to operate. Now if there was some way of bringing the Sons of Malta "along side" so to speak, that would certainly be of interest.
He drew on his cigar and reached for the intercom. "Sally, get me Argh on the line, I need my best trader up here now. We have some information to discuss and I am in need of his wisdom....."

Re: Colony News Network Survey
Chaos Marine MAVERICK has been observing the brave actions by these 2 unknown newcomers from a distance. He was struck by the courage of these two, who decided to take up several greater forces all by them selfs. He wondered what gave them the strength to engage in such a bold action, while being ridiculously outnumbered. There must be some kind of force strengthening them in their actions. Something similar to the Almighty Warp. Or maybe... He was confused. Something deep down, in the very roots of his soul began to tingle when he thought about these two. It felt familiar. A distant hint to old days... Yes, suddenly he realized what is was. He felt the same when he was still in training to become a Chaos Marine, when he first felt the early signs of the Blood Rush.
Those 2 must have been infected by the Warp at some point, as he could clearly feel the connection with them. Or was it just the recognition of pure bravery?
In any case, he was able to identify himself with them, even if it was only regarding their honorable goals. He felt a deep respect for them, and figured that the Omicron Alpha system would not have heard the last of them...
[OOC]: I'm sorry, I did the best I could, but I'm really not that good at this. Although I think this is a great effort in true RP style to counteract the events going on in OA. Very nice work, whoever you may be... =D>

Ryus looked stunned. Most people were too afraid to approch a member of the Black Legion unless they had a ship and some guns between them, and even then.... He looked around and at first addressed no one inparticular. "This brave (or is it stupid) reporter is actually asking a chaos marine for his opinion? Well, i'll tell you what. I will appreciate the actions of anyone who is willing to kill people just to get their point across! MORE BLOOD!" Then he simply walked off.

Well, being amidst all of the moans and groans that Dacia caused along the notorious trade route, it's good to hear that someone, someplace has put their guns where their mouths are.

The Trader was not happy. It was bad enough having to deal with the Navy and the Law searching your hold. He had already lost a whole bunch of perishable goods because of some jumped up low ranking piece of poodoo who insisted on seeing his entire manifest before letting him go - and then they gave him a fee for "disposal of litter"! All that entailed was the destruction by laser of his stinking wasted cargo! Sometimes the navy could get right up your nose, but sometimes they were the only thing between you and the pirates! Now there was the problem of terrorists - ha! like they needed more of that in this neighbourhood.
Argh had been on the comlink. Zeb had asked for a favour. Well as long as there was money in it who was he to refuse such a request? "Make contact with the terrorists - there might be some cash in it for you". Oh realy? There might also be a pine box in it for him also! Never heard of a "proxy bomb"? Thats right. They hijack you and tell you to deliver the bomb - what they dont tell you is that they will automatically detonate it while you are still aboard and within close reach of the actual target, which tends not to be the place you are heading to - just passing by! Seen it and done it. "Hey, Im no angel..." mused the Trader. This could be the jackpot or the jacksy depending on how you looked at it.
He gunned the engine in the direction of Planet Larissa. Time to make an old fashioned phone call.......

All of OA and the pace beyond was talking about these terrorists who had the audacity of nuking DACIA's base.
There is something to be said of their bravery, for that alone they deserve respect, not to mention that everything that upsets the navy and makes then tie resources somewhere else, makes them have less time to hunt pirates and snoop on lets say "slightly in the grey moral area" business.

Re: Colony News Network Survey
*Busy following up some leads on recruits, Rayce was surprised by a reporter sticking a microphone under his nose and asking him questions. He glanced around hesitantly and then cleared his throat.*
"Well, you don't seem to know who I am, not surprising either... I'm from the Outcasts Pirates and personally, I'm glad some one finally stood up to those parasitic leeches. They've been oppressing Malta and the Omicron Alpha system for too long and now that we're growing stronger again, we will be joining the Sons of Malta in their campaign against the Dacia. Mark my words, the Outcasts will show no mercy, no quarter and will not negotiate until every, single, last one of those despicable parasites is driven from our home! This is our home and our space! We WILL defend it with every piece of junk metal that can fly! You tell them that, paperboy, tell it to the whole galaxy."
*By this point, Rayce had snatched the microphone from the reporter's hand and was shouting into. Realizing this, he handed the mic back and dusted of his shirt, glaring at anyone who would even dare to make eye contact.*
"And you can quote me on this: the Dacia will be driven back and they will be crushed."
*Turning on his heel he marched off, the piece of paper with addresses crushed in his hand.*
