why when i have  cruise engines engaged people can catch up to me?

People can do this by making sharper turns than you, ie. anticipating you will turn right and beat you to it, so they have to cross a smaller distance. Also, when somebody is chasing you with cruise engaged, they could hit engine kill and fire a CD up your behind so you'd stop dead. Then there is the charge time for different engines mounted on different ships. One will charge a second faster than the other, getting that ship up to speed quicker than you. Do not make the mistake that engaging your cruise engines ensures you of a quick and safe way out. When faced with experienced and skillful pilots, you will have to be pretty quick at the stick to make it work.

the thing that happened was werid so i redownloaded mod and now its fine
