sry for this bro but i got to disagree. i personally feel it all goes into 1. dont see why ur actions ingame should change with ur actions on the forum, u normal find if there respectful ingame there respectful on forum and counter wise.

 :D  :D I am laughing so hard its making my sides hurt!  I made a comment to Eagle One regarding the fact that people would start treating the Karma Score like Frags.....and guess what..!  Only a dweeb would give themselves Karma points - like it realy matters.

@Burn: Mate I think it is cowardly for people to give you negative feedback and NOT tell you why - thats just not fair.

In the end think of it as this - what you give out you get back ("Cast your bread on the water and it will return to you tenfold"- Im paraphrasing... ) So to apply the rules of Karmic Law - its coming straight back at them....!

It looks like there will be a harsh competition for who will be the "Karma Master" on the Void forums (i'm obviously just kidding)  In the end it's just freaking Karma points Jesus...get a grip already lol
But hey it's a game and therefore a competition and this one will be fought fiercely for to gain those much needed and precious karma points and be declared the most "popular" player on the Void.

Still it seems there are people here who like to abuse the karma system by giving negative karma without adding a comment. This has made for my karma to go down 3 points in the last few days and I can't even see any negative karma points given in the comment window. Now I don't give a toss about numbers, but I do get annoyed when people do this kind of thing without having the balls to show their identity. If you think you should give someone a good or bad karma point, do have the balls to add a comment and tell who you are. This just looks like underhanded abuse, and it prevents for the karma system to serve its purpose. Please....  #-o

Well ......"You were warned..!" is a well known phrase.  Along with the locking of SPAM threads I suggest that unless people have the spine to say why they believe a negative karma is given then switch the damn thing off - cos like a lot of things here it gets abused by kids....C'mon guys show some backbone or lose this application - its that simple.

I also got myself one minus karma ( with no comment being added )but i really stopped careing some time ago
I've actually come to the conclusion that it is way to childish to get annoyed or angered by looseing some of those "precious" karma points (Jesus i lost a nother one...the horror lol)
I will only give out positives ones for those posts wich truely are good and deserve it or for the "jokers" out there who make everyone laugh by posting funny stuff (edam is a very good example for that  :) )

Yeah Burn you're right you stop caring after a while. But it's just a waste I think that a potentially good system looses its purpose because some people can't help themselves. Strail adds another nice feature to the site and voila - they jump at the occasion. It's pathetic.

Well all i can say to that is who cares it makes no difference it just means that you can spam the person with unwanted pm's to find out why
you gave them a - coz i notice nobody pm's you if you give them a +.
So to me its just like frags it means 0.
Just another thing to make the website load slower.

Erm it seems you can just cast karma points without letting know who you are, to whom would you send a pm then?

I got quite a few of those pm's from people who gave me a + and vice versa....

But you're right - when some people go about it they way they do now, it's no use sorry to say.
