Over 4m Page views

As we come to the end of the year its interesting to see that we have had over 4 million page views this year, compared to just under 2 Million last year.

The good thing is that were averaging over 425,000 page views per month (over the last 4 months) and regularly get 30 - 40 thousand page views per day. This month alone we have had 613,343 page views.

Page views is a more accurate tracking method than "hits" or others as Page Views reflect the number of times a page is called to a browser, Whereas hits incudes all files called when someone views a page - so hits would include all linked pages, images, and other things associated with displaying that page. So hits would be 10-15 times the page view number for us, if you wanted a ballpark figure.

Were trying hard to make sure that The Void and Freelancer continues its success.

As a side note, there will be a newsletter sent out pretty soon. Please feel free to forward it to your freinds who dont play Freelancer and lets see if we can drum up some additional interest that way.

That's a killer idea boss , im waiting to forward invite to my gang who plays COD4 , WoW and BF all times.
will be good if these lads came to join freelancer , they real game addicts lol with almost nothing but games to do beside working half day everyday.

Views ------------> Sign of popularity ---------> New Players check the page ----------> New players likes the game ------------> new players tries the void ----------> New Players.

Good numbers indeed! Congratulations.

One remark though: more pageviews imho does not necessarily mean more players for Void. It means the activity on the site has doubled.
This could just mean a more active community, for example if the forums have improved functionality or improved performance.
A better working forum improves enjoyability, making the members more active in using it and the site in general.

I very much like the idea of a newsletter.
