-=REAVERS=- Ambassador Appointed

In an apparent attempt to overcome their animalistic tendencies, the renowned ... I hesitate to say 'organization'... known as the -=REAVERS=- has appointed an individual from their numbers to serve as Ambassador to the rest of the Sirius Sector. This person, known as -=REAVERS=-Crescendo, has been identified as one with whom most organizations within the Void of Sirius are familiar. He has had a reputation for his abilities for clear and concise communication as well as experience within another agency that hasn't been heard from in recent times, that mysterious group known only as "Eclipse." Whether this person has changed with his assimilation into the -=REAVERS=- Mob or has altered his communicative abilities remains to be seen.

The -=REAVERS=- have been known to be somewhat uncommunicative, seeming to prefer violence over substance when it comes to interaction with civilized people, and even the less civilized entities that flourish here within the Void. The only information that has emerged from this savage hoard has been in the form of intercepted communiques and leaked intelligence from the various governments and corporations. However, a source which has requested to remain anonymous has told this reporter that direct communication from the -=REAVERS=- has now been received from one purporting to be their official representative.

What this development means to the rest of Sirius is unknown at this time. Most intelligence agencies remain skeptical that this could indicate a change in the -=REAVERS=- attitude toward the rest of the Void. It is possible they have found within their midst one who is perhaps slightly less consumed by what they refer to as "The Madness" and is able to articulate in an almost human fashion. Yet it seems to this reporter that his appointment to this important post could point to the Leadership of the -=REAVERS=- having experienced at least a passing moment of lucidity in realizing they should have a single point of contact for diplomatic and public relations matters. In the end, it would be naive to conclude there is any wrinkle in the leadership of the -=REAVERS=- or that this could signal, or lead to any change in their hostile intent for mayhem and destruction.
