shonen, there are people who doesnt suceed on what theyre doing that often but actually keep trying to make something work

I think like this...if you go to a new school nobody knows you and obiouvsly you can't start making group of friends from nothing, first you have to let the others know you and then you will surely find someone that will become your friend and you will start to make your group of friends.

Here it's the same for me, you can't come here and start a clan and nobody knows anything about you, no one will join your clan except for new players that aren't loyal and get tired easly if there isn't a bond that keep them together.

I mean we have hundreds of examples of that failure...you can't start doing something importan without solid foundations, no matter how hard you try.

I think you need to try and take shonen's point in context. Although he is NOT saying "hey good luck" he is pointing out the obvious.  Starting up a clan is difficult, particularly if there are a dozen other "new clans" that have just turned up.
5+ members and 100 hrs playing time - easily reached by some and not by others.  Starting a clan is easy - keeping it going is not so easy.  It takes a great deal of time and effort to keep a clan going successfuly - many fall by the wayside - we get big intros and then "nothing" .........They fizzle out like cheap fireworks.

Now Im not saying that XSF will do that, but dont be too hard on Shonen with this one - ok sure he could have said "Good Luck, but just remember....." and then added his caution about starting up a clan. Hey no big deal.

This is the main thing most people forget about. And the most important thing to make a clan last. It takes months, if not years, to really get a strong foundation for your clan. A clan can in my eyes not be 'established' within the timespan of anything under 6-9 months. That also makes a clan like Reavers still in their 'development' time. Even now it would be too easy to let the Reavers - for example - die out. It would only take a few weeks, if not even shorter.

Le's face it - Shonen is right. He's just telling it in your face. Can a clan be started in a few weeks time? Yes, sure. Can it get to a point where it can be considered to be an established clan, and 'out of the danger zone' in the same amount of time? Never. Starting, running and really establishing  a clan takes months and months of hard core dedication and hard work. And not only by the leader, but not in the least by its members. And even then, a clan can fall on short notice. Every member of a clan has the obligation to work for its survival.

Nevertheless the best of luck to you. I hope you can find the stamina to see this through.
