I reckon that we could survive the smaller ones easy... obviously not everyone lol unless they landed in the sea... but that massive SOB? If it's that size when it reaches ground level we're all screwed, not just the city it lands in but the planet as a whole, and if we somehow survived the impact the fallout would kill us all in a matter of weeks if not days!!
Thing is it's just one of many catastrophic events that could wipe out our planet, but the most plausable besides us causing the next Ice Age... I break out in cold sweats when I think of the scope of possibilities... we are but fleas on the back of the Universe.

But on a serious note,it is unlikely this would happen.Mankind has more chances of getting finsihed of due to Global Warming than asteroids or comets crashing onto our planet.
