It has come to my attention that the VOID is full of rumors and doubts regarding the MARAUDERS clan.
Although I’ll have to be pleased that this brings this clan into more people attention, personally I don’t like what I hear, and I doubt that any of the members do not agree with me.
I need to know from as many of you what you know about it and what are your thoughts related to this.

I hope for all of you to keep this discussion in as civilized as possible, for it to continue and reach a conclusion before being locked or deleted.
If a big fire burns in your soul and need a space to discharge your wrath, we provided a “Flame free section on our forum, here on void”.

Accusations brought to Marauders (that I know of):

1- Regenerating.  I can’t say that has not or has happened. In our rules there is specified not to recharge during PVP, and as we know, many think that rules are just a way to have some text attached to a clan’s forum or a new boundary to be crossed.  I’ve heard many times: “I thought that PVP need to be requested and not when you are attacked or attack someone”. This is only a question of experience and I hope all my players that I have the chance to explain this to, got the message.

2- Ganging.  Or better said the willing to gang while disapproving this when happens to them.
I’ve been ganged so many times, never complain about it. If feeling ganged and wanted out, I always changed my character or appeal to the understanding of the opposite side. This is pretty much in all of us. Marauders have been instructed not to exceed 3-1 ratio in a fight. Seams high even to me, not high by the average fighting skills though (hope the good fighters of Marauders not to take this personal).  In this situation, ganging often happens when one or more of the ones fighting Marauders remain docked or leave. Is not a situation that last long, but is enough to be pointed as cheaters and non-fair play.
Ganging seems to be a sensitive subject and an everlasting one on the forums nonetheless, but being threatened with banning players for this is a new situation for me all together. Never have been put in this situation… I feel ashamed as well as tramped.
Those being said, please, do not aspect to attack a Marauder and others not to react at this. Unless is a PVP, expect all Marauders there soon.

3- Disrespect and verbal abuse. Well… this is a tough one and I will say just this:
Bring prove of this and I will believe it.
In our clan was a very unique situation when another Marauder did this to a few of us. He is not with us anymore. Please send me PM or post on our forums any SS that prove this.

In the same idea as the last statement:
Please talk directly to me, post here or in the flame section or on our forums in the visitors’ area. Talking behind our back and spreading false rumors proves your guilt more than it proves ours. Bring proves. This is not about ratting on anybody, is about what is right to do, and is about the spirit of the game and the way it should be played. This is about you backing accusations with something solid and palpable.

Marauders politics of recruiting , at the stage that the clan is, is accepting  pretty much everyone that requests this as an escape from choosing a side and searches for independence while having the support of friends, anyone that follows an explorer RP as well as a mercenary one.
I’m glad to have this politics, although we are confronting more problems than the selective recruiters, and satisfactions are higher for now than disappointments.
Explaining the ways of VOID and getting some new players to play in the spirit of it and the clan’s, takes a while, but those players are our responsibility as long as they play under our banner, and I should take the hits – not them. I will be glad to pass them trough.

In the past, i was acused by regen. No big deal, but 2 avoid do this accidentaly, i disabled the regen keys.

I got screenies of one of yours saying FU d*ckhead and a variaty of other wonderful things.
However Im a grown man and a few words on a pc game mean nothing to me really, neither do I have any inclination to see anyone banned ( unless there a cheat ) this is just a heads up u need to remind your people that this is a G rated server not everyone has the same attitude I do.

well, exept from seeing one of you regen once I haven't been witness to any of the other things... So unless someone actually proves anything I don't know if you do any of those... I consider the Marauders a clean and good established clan.

Only if...

a. they are not forwarded to an admin and the guy gets a subsequent ban
b. The guy aint kicked from his clan

Everyone, anywhere, at anytime can have a bad day, I wont be part of seeing another man banned or booted from his clan for such a trivial thing as a few swear words.

All thats needed here is a reminder from Clan leader to members to try not to swear in system chat.
