Time to break the news: I have been asked to take the Saint clan, and do with it as I please in an effort to breath life back into this old and once highly respected Void clan. I have been given 'Carte Blanche' for this.
I have chosen to accept this offer and I might add that it is nothing less than a true honor to be asked to revive a clan with a history like the [Saint].
I have not mentioned the person who asked me, because I am not sure whether he wants that or not. If so, he will post here himself.
Please note that nothing concerning [Saint] has anything to do with my decision to disband the Reavers. My decision was taken long before the offer was made. And life goes on. I have accepted the offer because I see this opportunity as another potential means to add some fun to the overall gameplay on Void, and potentially draw the interest of players on other servers. Nothing more, and certainly nothing less.
And so with the ending of one clan, another will find its way back here. It's the circle of life, even on Void.

A little introduction about the [Saint] clan-to-be, to arouse your interest.
Goal:
The general goal is to re-establish the clan to its original glory. The way that it was intended by the creators when they came up with the idea.
The entire clan will be refurbished, preserving the original intentions. No small part in this, will be the completely new site, which will be something new to the Void.
RolePlay description:
The red line in the clan RP will once again be centered around the 'Holy Rock' in Sparta. This Rock is holy to the Saints and will be defended at all costs by any member. Any player who dares to approach the Holy rock too close, will find himself looking into the barrels of a [Saint] pilot. Which will, without a doubt, mean certain death. And there will be nobody to hold your hand as the light fades away from your eyes.
No-one will claim the Saints their territory of the Holy Rock.
'The Void Elite'
Since the player base of nowadays is a bit smaller than it used to be when the original [Saint] creators presented the clan for the first time, the interpretation of the 'Elite' part will be somewhat different this time in order to give the clan a breathing chance.
The [Saint] clan will be made up of mature members and will represent the best of the best attitude-wise. Saint members will be players who know what is good for the Void as a server and as a community, and realize in what way they can actively add to that and do so accordingly.
But make no mistake: they will mercilessly mow you down if you desecrate the Holy Rock. Being well-mannered does not mean they are a fluffy fun-loving clan. They have only one goal in life: Defend the Holy Rock. And they will fight to the death defending this cause.
Naturally, the [Saint]s will still be known as more than outstanding fighters, using only brawler set-ups. Members will also receive the training needed to maintain a high overall skill level.
However, the emphasis of the 'Elite' trait will be on the characters and attitudes of its members.
As you might have expected, the [Saint] will not actively recruit, but pick its members very carefully, only taking in new members on an invitation-basis. Selection will be based upon attitude, discipline, respect and love and dedication for the Void Server. And of course also a talent for PvP Brawler style.
Long-term heading:
The ultimate goal is to (re-)create a clan which serves as an example to the rest in regard to clan organization, member attitude, discipline, honor, respect, and PvP skills. The clan should eventually be seen by all as the ultimate clan to be in. If you are a member of the [Saint] Clan, you will be highly respected for who you are and what you do, and how you do it. In more ways than one.

I will start working on it right away. I have done my research, thought up a strategy, and have set clear goals for the [Saint] to reach through time. Well you can all read it between the lines in the text above I guess.
You will see posts show up in the days to come, introducing the new [Saint] clan to its community, the Void.
I have a very challenging, and daunting task ahead of me. But it has too much potential to not give it my best. And so I will do just that.
Cyall soon.

Glad you've been given the opportunity to restore this project to it's former glory... I only just found the Saint's base so expect frequent visits from me there
good luck mate, if you can get the Saints back on the road then it will surely be fun trying to go through Sparta since I have no intentions of staying away from your holy rock
I'm sorry for being negative but can you guys pick a clan and stick with it?

"'The Elite'
The [Saint] were once designed to represent the best of the best. The elite of the elite, the spearheads. And they will once again be known as just that. "
And that my friend was its failing right from the conception to then end. Something me and Becker should have seen right at the start.
Saint was Eliteismn of the worst kind and by sticking to a policy of only recruiting the best of the best in a game a with shrinking player base always ment it was doomed to fail.
I mean at least XEF recruited then trained anyone who showed promise, to get in Saints you had to be seriously good right from the get go.
Its failed and failed and failed everytime its been picked up, because it doesnt work due to numbers playing FL and its flawed set up.
Sorry to say, Its not going to work this time either m8 unless you change its core rules/ideals and if you do that - will it be Saint?.
But as always I wish u all the best and im always kicking around somewhere if you want any help or advice.

To fear is to doubt, doubt leads to weakness, we
I think I tend to agree with Ent here. If you look first to the very best fighters you will have a small base to begin with and you will lose out on a lot of excellent members who will be there to return the [SAINT]s back to their proper place.
Your key to success will also be your greatest challenge: judgement of character and wise leadership.
There are plenty of top-notch players who could never be considered elite. But there are plenty of players with elite character who can become top-notch fighters. Make character your top priority. Choose your membership from those who has his/her heart in the right place... take that person in and let him flourish. Then you can train the members to become elite fighters. You can't train character... integrity, honor, self-discipline, dedication, self-respect and respect of others, restraint and ferocity and very importantly, humbleness. Those are the inherent traits of the elite. You can train fighting skills. Anyone can learn to fight. Put your emphasis on the inherent requirements and the rest will come. Your challenge is to judge the right character.
I know you and I know you have it in you. You will succeed if you follow your instincts in judgement of character, and wise leadership through exercising your own restraint to let your members be who they are and trust them.
