Hi,
I'm always getting the message "I'm sorry, a connection could not be established". Every time. The very nano second I click connect. I've tried it with The Void, Discovery, GLS, manual list fix, anti-virus (ESET) disabled and uninstalled even though it's on the white list and should work, I've disabled IPv6, run it in compatability mode as administrator and standard. When running FLserver.exe I can see my server in the list along with other internet servers so there's no problem communicating with the global server. I'm not running a LAN server, it doesn't show on that list. I can't even connect to my own server. I'm not re-installing again, it took a day for me to be able to play single player and this problem has been hanging around since first install.
I've followed every guide and viewed every knowledgebase. I can't be the only person on Vista that just can't get it to work.
Connection failing, nothing has worked so far

Hi.
If you have router make sure you add freelancer to the allowed list.
Maybe the problem is in Freelancer Mod Menager, thry this:
FLMM may don't work right under Vista system, just right-click on the shortcut or FLMM.exe -> Properties, tick on "Execute as Admin" and set the compability mode to Win XP or Win 2000.
You have instructions in pictures here.
I hope this helps.

I rolled back updates but it's still not working. I also uninstalled VMWare for good measure but that didn't make a difference either.
