unable to choose server from list

Strange yesterday (and 3 days before that too) everything was fine and now I can't select the server either. Now I can't even download from filefront.

It may be you had the same problem I had on joining 2 days ago.
The mod has been updated and you need use a different downloader - the one on main page was obsolete at the time I used it.

Today, I used the 1st "non torrent" and it worked like a charm.

it wasnt green on my server list so i removed mod and then downloaderd a fresh version from the first non torrent line and it wont activate

Program Files/Freelancer Mod Manager/Mods/void2151v9/DLLS/BIN/content.dll  <copy this file

Program Files/Microsoft Games/Freelancer/DLLS/BIN/ copy it there

Sorry to hear it still doesn't work. Not sure this'll work for you mate, but here is what I did

Manually delete the mod zip folder called Void2115v9.zip (and any extracted versions you may have),
Download the mod zip folder again, using one of the link provided in this thread then,
Extract the mod from that zip folder. And put it into its own folder (call it the same "Void2115v9.zip")

Now open that new Void2115v9.zip extracted folder, and find 2 XML documents (they say XML when you mouse over). I think one is called Script and the other Options.
Drag those 2 XML documents OUT of the folder and put them into your main Freelancer folder (doesn't matter where).

Now drag your Void2115v9 mod folder (the one you just worked on, WITHOUT the XML documents) INTO your flmm Mods folder.
Close the flmm Mods folder when done.
Start your flmm program and the Void2115v9 mod should show in red. Activate it until it turns green. Then close the flmm program.
Turn the game on.

Note we've had loads of crashes yesterday. If your mod shows green in flmm and you can't log, it's maybe not your installation's fault.

@zues in my modmanger main screen there is mod called void2115v9 however under program files modmanger mods it does not appear. i am activating v9 since the many deletions of mod manager has erased v.8  

@asmo i was unable to copy any files because of the ghost mod as i have described to zues

Hi guys longtime no see.

Well im having the same problem, the server shows up on the list but the version 1.0 is red and i cannot click on the server :S kinda strange because i manage to play on the server last week or so and i downloaded the correct mod. I havnt changed owt with FL or the mod, tbh i havnt even been on the computer for a few days so i dont see how its not working.

Anyways i guess i'll reinstall the game and whatnot when i have spare time, i'll let you know if i get it sorted, till then have fun.

This may be the reason or not
when i first installed the mod i copied a no CD freelancer.EXE over to freelancer and got the same problem.
then i realized that the mod comes with one.

It seems you said you're using the mod from last week but there's a new version of the mod, so download it, remove old one, install new one and get your arse in the game  :D  :P

Something to consider folks.  Only the download links in the post "New Mod Release Schedule..." are valid at the moment.  The red/blue image link on the front page needs updating yet which will need someone with higher access to do, working on this at present.

If you've downloaded from the front page, this will be why you can see server but can't connect.
