DOWNLOAD: Mod Update To Fix Bugs

Zyraxes, this is already being addressed.  At the moment only Strail and Vector-X have access to update the download section and I flagged this with Vector-X to be updated, I'll check up on it again soon.

I created an account only to post this error:
After downloading... disabling the mod from mod manager...I try to install and it says CRC error...
I can see the server but my guess is that because I haven't installed this last patch I don't have the option to connect like the case of newer versions of the game existing on the server and not being able to connect due to older version installed on my pc.

So, my question is, how to I fix the CRC error?...I tried applying this patch in Mod Manager/Void folder and also in Freelancer folder - same error.

RC3 mod and the patch to RC4 should let you connect, check the first post again as i have added a download for the changed files only.

this is mainly a fix for the market issues.

same as above, check the first post again as i have added a download for the changed files only, copy the files manually.

Done as u said - download the zip archive, manually replaced the files inside the Mod manager and after that reapplied the mod to the game, and now, my game won't start...it gives me a report window with the following error: freelancer has crashed...options available: Send error report/Don't send".

Geez man, I also did the patch thing as u say Asmodeus and got the same results as pizdamatii, this sux. It seemz like there is alot of playerz this time around, at least to me it seemz that way, that r having trouble. I think 1 way of making this easier for every1, or at least getting 1 step closer to resolving the problem and getting playerz connected to the Server would b for there to b a Clear/easy to understand path or way to get to the final version of the mod. And if there is a patch that has to go with it then the same for that. Mostly b4 a person is to get to these final links, there should b a brief outline describing with should b downloaded first, then second, and, most importantly, no cumputer jargon. I know it soundz silly but it would help most of us who r not computer savy but who just like to play the game. Thanx....!

P.S. o yah, another thing. It also seemz like there is alot of links throughout the forumz that can kinda lead u all over, again, im mainly talking about and trying to help those of us that dont know that much of computerz

manually replaced?!? why? Installation guide doesn't say that.

First case: Freelancer installed on my PC
1-Download mod (2115v9RC3, the last one)
2-Download patch RC3 to RC4
Now you got 2 options:
A.1-Install mod with Freelancer Mod Manager (FLMM 1.3)
A.2-Execute patch (game folder)
or
B.1-Execute patch (unzipped mod folder)
B.2-Install mod with Freelancer Mod Manager (FLMM 1.3)

Second case: Freelancer and mod 2115v9RC3 installed on my PC
1-Download patch RC3 to RC4
2-Execute patch (game folder)

Deactivate the mod and close it.



Double Click the Patch installer















make sure this is Highlighted




Back to Mod Manger And Activate the Mod

It would probably be best for a news article on the front page with a guide, to stop all this confusion. There're so many different downloads and links, it's easy to get lost.

Btw i'm no noob at computers but thank you for this elegant and step by step explanation that will certainly help others but perhaps I didn't explain my error properly.
I will try to do so now:
Step 1: Deleted the old Void mod from mod manager.
Step 2: Checked to see if it was deleted (it was).
Step 3: Downloaded the mod Void2115v9_final.zip.flmod from torrent because it seems the file from filefront has a problem("Oops! An unexpected error (-1) has occurred.") - my guess their server that hosted this file is down or they changed the server and forgot to remap the link
Step 4: Installed the mod
Step 5: Tried to apply the patch exactly as described by Asmodeus
Step 6: Never gets to patch the mod, it gives error window(PatchWise Updater - title of window) that says:
Main file updating failed, operation canceled!
Main file data integrity(CRC)error.
The only option for this window is "OK" or "X"

If there is still ambiguity in what I said, please let me know.

unpact it then copy the Void2115v9 folder to your Mods folder
of the mod manager. Open mod manager and Activate it.

and if you don't use the mod manager copy the contents of the
Void2115v9 folder to your freelancer folder

I'm new and i just downloaded void from :

EDIT: Sorry didnt notice there were 3 pages to the topic. So now i downloaded the changed files and added them to freelancer but now it completely stopped working
