New Clan Requirements

If you want to start a new clan on the Void ... here's the scoop....

The requirements for a recognized clan on the Void server are simple.

You must have at least 5 members. This means seperate individual players ...Not characters.

You must have tags in brackets or punctuation of some sort ( { [ < - etc.
Example [ABC] ... then a character name. You can choose to assign
additional rank if you want.

You must post an announcment of your new clan and your clan's intentions as far as
Role Play/Game Activities are concerned on the Void Web Site.
Place your post in the "News for Clans of the Void " section.

This is all that is required to initially start a clan.

Now there is a bit more....

There is a program that pulls Clan data from the Global Freelancer Server.
It is called FL Stat. It was written by Cryogenius.
The program is basically an HTML based filter.
In order to be "seen" by the FL Stat program ... Your clan must follow the
creation rules listed above.
Also, If you dont play to increase NPC kills or Trade/Mission
with the character to increase $$ wealth,
you may not appear on the FL Stat page.
This is a Global Freelancer list and it shows only the highest rankings
in the World.


Now here is a bit more yet.....

The Void recognizes clans officially and will place a clan discussion
area in the forums for your clan as long as these additional requirements are met.

Your clan must have followed all of the before mentioned guidelines.
Your clan must maintain a minimum of 5 members.
Your clan must show on the FL Stat roster.
Click Here to check if your clan is showing.
Your clan's members must have a combined total of hours logged
in your clan tagged characters in excess of 100.
Your request ( after all of the above conditions have been met ) must be
submitted to an Administrator.
Include all of your clan members stats in this request.
We will confirm the information prior to board creation.
Also include a .gif or .jpeg sized to 88x31 pixels for your clan button.
Also state which country flags you require next to the clan name (max 3)

If at any time your clan does not show an active involvment in the
Void server and site .... your clan area on the message board may be
deleted.

The Void is all about having fun.
We encourage clans to consider the advantages and disadvantages of starting a new clan.

Be aware that all Void Server rules are to be followed at all times.

Interaction between Clans and Players that Multi-clan are NOT the concern of the VOID staff.
