Ah Dynasty.....thanks for a great post!

Now that is the response all who reply should make .... sort of stirs up the adrenalin.

"destroyer of clans" "clan wars" "Saints" (NOT) lol "memoris of unfinished clan wars" "sniper" (and reminding all of who was the very best of snipers)

I love it!!!

I threw it out to Syndicate, that DTA is gone, but was thinking it may just put a bug in AN, that Syndicate could be the clan to create havoc at the Alex Gates. (didn't work) sigh

Even pricked Zeus of the Black_Legion (hoping he would tell Syndicate to "back-off" and don't even consider being the killer clan, cuz Black_Legion would kick their rear-ends. (didn't work)

Almost did. He offered to train me and Syndicate. HEY!

TRAIN ME? The trainer and mentor of Watchwolf (i miss him) who, like yourself, Dynasty, became [Void] Watchwolf and PitViper were the best wingmen ever that flew Void. We smashed DTA, Syndicate, Black_Legion, Saints, or anyone else who challenged us. Mwahahaha

Sigh, May Void someday reach once again for the "true" Void spirit. May I once again fly through the WELCOME TO VOID sign in NY and find I have traveled backwards in time to where Void was King of all Freelancer mods.

It's funny to read phrases: "Our clan was the best, I was the best, we were the best."
Sorry, but what determines to be "the best"? Depending on how one or two people were good at PvP?
At least one good fighter is/was in every clan.
Guys to a good clan that is not enough. Thus, I argue that this is not enough and of course others may see it differently, because everyone can think what he wants.
A nonsense too.

What you should focus is present time. We aim to "revive" this server. So if pvp skills matter that much to you, you should go ahead and take "the best" title now, what happened is good to remember, but not good to argue with.

Also keep in mind that without strong opponents there aren't strong allies. So whoever was amazing, he sure had to have amazing enemies to over-amaze their a$$

The reason why someone ussually calls himself or his/her clan the best is to challenge other people to try to kill them and be the best.

I AM THE BEST! Not really no. But we can always try to sort some things heheh.

And dyn, was that war that long ago? Im getting old lol.

I remember it causing more flamewars than anything else, then again, in a sense, flamewars was what kept Void alive, but at the same time slowly killed it.

There are many ways to be "the best" out there

I always valued very skilled fighters and all, but above all, what made this place (despite of all the grief, every gaming community since the dawn of gaming has had those) enjoyable for me, for a decade and still keeps doing so, is the good spirit and awesome people who contribute to the server and community, Got a bit of a writer in you? write a short story and let your imagination fly! The limit is Sirius and Beyond! Like hosting events? ain't a better way to do it than shouting about it on the forums, like already has been done for the upcoming weekend. I am sure to turn up and i hope as many of you will as possible! A good community is made by its players, we are all here to enjoy the VOID experience that has been there to enjoy for a decade, and we have enjoyed it _together!_

However, it would be the best if you all could call someone, who you spent a lot of time with in this game, to return to the Void. If you guys who are these days here really want to play Freelancer again you won't get much action without moar people.
So open your MSN, Skype(not advertising!

), or whatever you are using and try to contact 3-5 people. Imagine if everyone would do the same(including those who responded to our calls), and if only 1 person out of those you called would come back, in a month we would have 1 nice community here...AGAIN!

Judging from some replies here...Saints must have taken a real downfall after I left

Or most people here are too young (serverwise) to remember the clans first stint on this server.
I am sure some opponents still wake up during the night...and remember.
