SUGESTION for Strail !! ---all read --(strail please answer)

Ok we are nearing of geting us nothing to do ecept PvP
Oirates are almost gone, becouse almost no one wants to play tax
next think we have NAVY clans with no real enemy becouse they do not have pirate clans to fight agains
so this is a sugestion , I know i sugested this months ago and i did not get any answer, so please Strail answer
can we have System ownership in VOID so we can have WARS over them,
only the thing is that my sugestion is that Alex, Sparta, NY, Dyson, Nomad 1, Unkw 2, clan system is ownership free rest could be purchased for lets say 400 mil
and 1 clan can have only 1 system
if one clan wants to have system which other clanhave, they can have system raid and they claim it and then they have their switch systems ownership until next system raid.
Then we will have nice wars, nice aliances ...
I know that it is posibility to have me baned or have me on some i dunno what kind of color list but I love VOID and just wanna all of us to have more fun

the thing is in my several taged and untaged chars before and now i watched system chats, and had private chats and there is always Idea about this but all are afraid to ask direct to you Strail (In most of ocasion I never started tihs kind of talk)
I heard it that you are generaly against it and even I heard that you will ban anyone who ask that kind of question. well I hope that is bad information.
So Strail please post your opinion on this.

The thing is, you can claim a system. Claim it but not "own" it. you can protect this system from other clans but u cannot tax it...Why bother paying "400mil" for a system when u can just do the same thing. just not technicaly "own" it..

I'm not sure about the system ownership thing, but banning someone because they asked a question is like getting thrown in jail for asking a cop what time of the day it is.

If you got banned just for simply asking a question, that wouldn't make us very good ADMIN's..would it?

Uhm... As you needed an answer here it is.

As mentioned before, clans can claim a system however, the server doesnt run a clan ownership system.

The reason for this is simple.

I have played on other servers where this happens and I have been killed by a player just for visiting a system owned by a clan. They didnt need to give a reason as they own it and they can/could do what ever they wanted to do in it.

Unfortunately, this will not work and is why we dont adopt clan system ownership.

But i think the problem wouldnt be system ownership.. it would be the bad players.

with or without system ownership there will be bullies, who just wanna go around tormenting others.
But what about claiming then? Make a forum sections where a clan can claim a system (this wouldnt give them any benefit rulewise, its more like hanging a shield "home" on it), and perhaps a couple of guidelines how they could fight for it.

I respect Strail's decision on this, as this has happened to me before aswell, being attacked for simply passing through a clan owned system!

I also think that becker has a good idea... A section where each clan can state there claim over a system and can be challenged for this etc! Each clan will need to follow guidleines (as becker said) so that no-one abuses this this right (if granted)!

I have played on many servers and have seen this done successfully! This will also add to the roleplay, perhaps causing larger clan wars, where there will be a formiddable setting and reason for this, the claim to the system!

edit: I just wanna add that there will be nice and something must do when someone wants to raid a system they must post at least 45 min before they do it, what system tehy will atack so defenders can mobilise their forces and have their allies
