Ahhh man i had some fun fights on the void.

Anyone who's been around long enough to remember my early days as ~{BH}~|_/\_|~ remembers the first appearance of "Boxing", a technique that would later become fairly common in the arsenal of brawlers across the void. In my opinion i leveled the playing field somewhat in the lopsided Brawler vs Sniper war.

Speaking of brawlers i gotta give a shout tol the few good ones.

Red Dragon: Though it makes me a tad disgruntled that he gets more credit than i do for boxing, and that many remember him as being the best brawler in void history. He was the face of brawlers for several months. Hs aim was good enough for people to mistake it for aimbotting and good enough flying to be able to take down most WA1's and Vipers with ease. He also had impressive CD timing. He also had a larger ego than mine.

Scythe: My protege', i recruited him into [Saint] in early 07'. He had more potential than anyone i'd seen before him, his aim was better than mine or red dragons and he had a natural ability to play the game. I taught him how to box and the basics of turning and from there he took off. Not many will remember him, he was awful quiet, but he was a beast.

Thorn: Thorn had some good flying, unlike me, scythe, or RD he didn't posses that natural ability to hit anything, anywhere, at any time, his aim was good but not great. He made up for this however with an impressive combat style, his dodging in the Anubis was about as good as mine.

Ripper: Ripper is a natural, kind of a jack of all trades. He wasnt great in any one area (dodging, turning, aiming) but he was very good at them all. Ripper and I had some great brawling matches in WA1's and often times it came out pretty even.

Bersecer: Bers does it all and in every ship. He's a supurb sniper but his brawling is under rated. He'll give anyone a good challenge with Anni's.

Sithis: Didn't fight him enough, he was so much fun to fight. Very nice aim and decent flying, if you could get behind him you could tell he was a little lost but man... he was a beast when he got you head on. He was one of the few people who could break even with me when i boxed.

Dyson: Like bersecer and ripper Dyson does it all, while his sniping is very good his brawling is good to. Dyson is always dangerous ^^

Ghost: The only =DTA= still brawling before they got the boot. His aim was decent but he had some good sliding and torps. Always dangerous and always a fun fight.

Entroposlayer: You were a very good brawler, its a shame you never had time to get used to my style as many others did because i think once you did we would have very close battles.

Me: Meh... i know I'm egotistical. If you think im lieing then meet me ingame and we can go brawler vs brawler and you can prove me wrong =)

Now as for the snipers, alot of good ones. Too many to list really, so i'll just list the most significant to me.

Shonen: The only guy with better aim than me with N3's. His turning and dodging were very good too, but his aim was absolutely fantastic. He can say he loses to Dyson all he wants but as far as i'm concerned he is the absolute best sniper on the server.

Me/Ripper: +The+Reaper+ was my big sniper experiment, I had never seriously tried N3's before. I found it easy to learn. I amassed somewhere around 1000 kills and i hadn't had one unavenged loss in 1v1 PvP the entire time. However i had one set of extremely close battles with Ripper, we were basically even each fight. In fact it was so close i cant really say im a better sniper than he was.

Majestik/Greaver: Damn i had good fights with them back in my BBD days, they're both about equal in my opinion. In fact i wonder why so many people mention Greaver but never mention Majestik. Majestik was a monster, while i believe greaver was a better shot and had better turns Majestik was just a bit harder to hit. I never really got to see them fight, i think it'd be epic. In their primes my 4 Kraken/2 Debili hammerhead was about even with both of them.

Destroyer: You'll be number one soon enough, your still improving in leaps and bounds and you're easily top 5 on the server right now. I had some Gf's with you as The Reaper. Keep it up and soon you'll be number 1 ^^

Of course im leaving alot of people out, too many standouts to list : P

Heh what can I say?

Im getting old! my reactions arnt as fast, my eyes are dimming, and I get the strong urge to go out and buy a tweed cap every so often!

But no its all good, Im back in a conq again after trying the snipers, which im adverage at ( got to 3rd in the last 3 pvp tourneys ) But I cant touch Dest in his wa1 at all : ) and as for Shonnen forget it, Im lucky if i can even get my anubis to even swing fast enough to see him on my screen!.

I would be very interested to see how you would fair in a battle against multiple Viper/Wa1 snipers, with your brawlers, Because I and many others are having a seriously hard time competing with the Nomad3 toting fast ships.

Maybe you can figure it out m8.

Hope to see u in game again.

Aight so:

i'll keep this short as it's 04:24 am and im kind of knackered:)

Anyways,  My first flight on void was way back ago, dont even remember when anymore...i previously was playing on a server called Geezers in Space, and from a curiosity i thought to try Void.

now the first thing i remember very well, was when i went to Alexandria from New York, and i saw these old school vets having fun on the other end, i think it was Wayfarer,  Batman, a.k.a   VOID-Admiral, and maybe it was Fracture as well and few others, cant remember...but anyway they were pvp:ing and i went there with my noob ship an asked if they could demonstrate some group fight pvp for me...the reply i got was "We are not here for your entertainment, Elessar", that scared me off a bit to be honest:S a new community and all.

so after this i started to advance on my freelancing career, making money, guiding new players to the server i started to be familiar with, giving them money, helping them with trade routes and such...eventually my kindness was noticed, and i was offered a spot as an server guard, a VOID...after an year or so passed from that, i was made an admin, which i still am today, although i cant participate to gaming much. All in all for me it has been a great history, in both good and bad. ;)

EDIT:   Oh my god Stoertebecker! Man! didnt believe i'd ever saw you writing here again where were you all this time!?

Yeah that was back in the days when the MKII had three torpedo slots, and Boyster was deadly acurate with them, best torpedo timing I've seen on the server.
