There is an option to limit signatures appearing only once per person posting in each thread.

The upside of this is that the threads should be easier to read and less scrolling to get to one/two word replies as you dont have to scroll thru countless sigs on a thread.

The downside is that your sigs will only appear once regardless of how many times you post on the thread/per thread.

This isnt a big deal either way, but I know sometimes it does get a bit annoying scrolling down to read messages in a thread.

SO....

As a poll, if you want to keep it the way it is now, vote for keep sigs in all posts
if not, vote for once per thread.

Like I said theres no need for heated debate, unless you feel very strongly about this.

We will run the poll for a few days and see where we get, if its not conclusive we just keep it the way it is.

I voted for the sig to only appear once. I dont think we need to see the same sig 20 times on the same thread. Alot of us dont come on the forums to look at sigs, we come on to read the threads. Thats just my point of view....

Sigs are images, or words associated to a player, clan or RP. They are used to be recognice, to  express a message etc.. I think that once in a thread is enough.

because it sucks just to see 1 sig 1 time and if u post a lot of times u dont see it and in my opinion that suck

I voted that the Signatures should be posted under every post.

Most of the sigmakers want recognition when ever and where ever a player sees the sig he made.

I don't mind only one sig per thread but as Babieca said they are a picture and a way to express yourself.

I voted to keep them each time... sorry but I love to see them again and most are so pretty...except DTAs sigs ofcource... tho I would prefer that players wouldn't have more then 2 makimum 3 little sigs.. see how cool my sigs are compresed  :D  :)  :D  :x

You can't create 1 post without ever mentioning DTA in it can you?  Who wants "pretty" sigs lol  
I vote to see the sigs only once.  As long as you can see the poster's avatar, then you can still identify the post to the poster.

I thimnk everyone should have the chance to have there sigs / sigs under every post.

Although. If people are finding it annoying to be constantly scrolling down everypage then maybe there should be a limit to how many sigs a player can have. Maybe just one sig per player?

Personally I think sigs should be kept as they are, I think the problem lies really in the sheer size of some peoples signatures and the number of signatures that people are displaying. Of course in this day and age, the majority of people have high speed connections, yet I'm sure that if your going to cater for everyone, then people should only really use one signature with reasonable height guidelines as well. I've posted on forums before which had a maximum signature size of 24K and even then it didn't really limit the creative capacity of forum users. A balance between the both is what I think needs to be found.
