Changes at AoF

Greetings.  I am sad to announce that I shall be resigning the role of AoF President.  I do not have the time or commitment available to attempt to foster an idea that seems to have died the death.  With only 11 active players and dropping in numbers, the recently failed recruitment drive and the unwillingness of new players to embrace the idea of an association, combined with the frankly ridiculous amounts of cash being offered to new players, and the plain down right lazyness that is infecting the Void of late, I feel that this is no longer a viable concept.  Players want to fight not trade. Players want the easy solutions and to do nothing more than fight it out with each other, which is fine, thats what this place was designed for.

AoF is up for grabs.  Given its association status, I am happy for folk to still fly under the AoF banner.  I will retain my AoF character for a while and see how things develop, but I am not taking any further administrative role or leadership postition.  Its up to the remaining members of AoF to decide upon the direction that this association takes.  Any present member of AoF who wishes to take over is welcome to do so - PM me and let me know so we can get the forum admin rights altered.  Anyone else that wants to rescue or refresh the direction that AoF are taking then please do likewise and PM me.  One request is that Geromix remain in an advisory capacity.  He has some excellent ideas that may make AoF a far more succesful Clan than I could make it.  There are certain things that I was not prepared to compromise on and this may well have led to our present "staleness".

Many thanks to the Romanian contingent for their hard work - alain, the gang is yours if you want it...!  To Argh and to 911 for their hard work and to all those that have flown and continue to fly  with honour under the AoF banner.

I will still be around and focusing my efforts in other areas and on my new role as VOID protector. I will also be spending my retirement in the "Hair of the Wolf" bar  - cya in there for a beer!

Zeb m8 why u doing this? i am oe of the active members too. so if it need i can recruit some ppl man dont think that [AoF] dead it never die like [VLF]
