Kernatch ( pictured above ) is currently awaiting trial for the Oct 3rd murder of 6 europa elete counselmen and 2 transport pilots


On Oct 3rd after a summit to approve  the petrochemical  extraction from planets in the Hel-1 system  
a secure transport was blown up containing the 6 counselmen  outside the demosthenes docking substructure seriously damaging the docking ring and many sensors as well as killing the 6 counselmen and 2 pilots

After later investigation on the craft it was found that an explosive device was coupled to the cruise engine combustion battery

4 days after the explosion  a man with no identification was found trying to steal a shuttle from the demosthenes docking complex

He was arrested and found to be lawrence kernatch of planet rygodor in the Hel - 1 system  after further interrogation by
the demosthenes secret police kernatch confessed to the lone bombing of the transport carrying the europa
counselmen


Kernatch the leader of the Hel - 1 fundamentalist group  is also wanted on several other warrents

A hard blow was deliverd today in a demosthenes courtroom as the story of a troubled man Lawrence Kernatch of Planet Rygodor played out

Kernatch 26 years old was convicted on 8 counts of capital murder with intent  and sentenced to 197 years in the Fermadraeus cryogenic penal institution

Today defense attorneys claimed that 197 years was just too long for a man so young and that appeals would be launched in the demosthenes supreme alliance courts





But the demosthenes government fired back with there own statement

" For to long we have lost top officials to brutal bombing and kidnappings by the hel fundamentalist group finally our day has come to punish there own  with kernatch frozen we can sleep easyer knowing that hes out of the picture"

Lawrence kernatch  Convicted murderer will be moved today to fermadreus cryogenic prison  on Planet Dayboodra Hel - 1



Reports have come in from numerous Sources today that the hel-1 fundamentalists will do everything they can to rescue kernatch from the prison ship convoy while it is enroute to dayboodra


The demosthenes security group has assigned the demosthenes gunboat     DSG Benevolent  to transport the prisoner to dayboodra

They are asking for all freelancers looking for escort work to join the      fermadreus task force    to escort Kernatch to the prison



DSG spokeswoman    alexandra carrs  had this to say



"We are worried about the benevolent being over run by the hel fighters    but kernatch has to be deliverd to strike a blow to the terrorists in the area "

The Demosthenes Government is offering a contract to all freelancers  to join the task force and get kernatch to fermadreus on dayboodra

Payment is promised upon safe return of the benevolent to planet demothenes

First of all thank you for the preview regarding the looks of the Hel faction individuals (i was always curious about that)
From the background of the picture i take it that was shot in one of their bases wich lead me to conclude that it will probably be possible in the next mod to get friendly with them (even do missions for them) in thier homesystems
Adding new ship types for this mysterious faction would also lift my interest regarding them (just like it was in the 2112 mod regarding trhe Pirates,Fugitives and Europe) New System (non 3D) resulting in New Factions resulting in New Ships sounds like the perfect combo for a brilliant mod to me.

PS:Are they hermaphrodites like the Nomads?

Good luck with this event wich hopefully will spark the interest of many!

Yeah...this was a really fun event.

[RP] Though I must say...I'm worried about DSG's security...agents of the Sons of Malta managed to infiltrate the convoy.  It was quite surprising when the Dacia attacked, and rest assured, the faction's recent slide into senseless brutality will not go unanswered. [/RP]
