Size issue?

Not sure if this is correct thread to post so appologies if it is not.

Wondering if there is a size limit to the sigs? I notice some rediculously big sigs so I assume there is not a 500x100 limit?

I know there's a 500 character limit, but I am not aware of a size limit m8. It works by uploading your pic onto a site like Photobucket or Imageshack. You can then copy the image link [IMG] to your sig text box. So it's more like this site uses the link from the hosting site, rather than the image itself I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I understand that part, but the reason I asked is most websites have a limit to the actual size of  a sig on a forum, its to keep the page size small so it doesn't take ages to load.( although it is an external source they still have to be loaded)

I n0oticed that the sigs on here are huge and wanted to know if there was a cap to how big you are allowed your sig.
i.e. can i have a sig that is 600x900? if we are having big sigs I would like to take full advantage.

But to be honest I only ask as not to get told off by admin

I'm not sure about the actual sizes m8. Why not try one and resize it if the site doesn't accept it? I don't think you'll get told off, people can switch off the option to see sigs if they take too long to load. If there is a size limit, the site won't accept it.
