Dev Team Reforms?!

Hello there
Before you read the entire post,read this first-
What can we do?(has only 16 replies indicating the general apathy in the community)
This post is a direct result of that,especially following from Rev Del's(Disco Admin) remarks that outlined the present state and future possibilities of Void,including decline and death of Void.
I also hope something comes out of it,and Strail reads this.
This post is aimed at getting a working new mod to increase player count as quickly as possible without compromising on quality of mod.and in short revive Void.
To do that the ones responsible for getting a mod delivered to the community,the Dev Team needs reforms which will help Strail make a new mod as fast as possible.
The present Development Team consists of the following,activity given,correct me if i am wrong-
data001
Dyson=Inactive
gav=Inactive
HeadHunter=Inactive
Infinity
Kumori
Osiris
OuterStar=Inactive
Travesty
Yeti=Inactive
Zyos=Inactive
Zeus
Out of 12 guys, half no longer are active in Void.
I propose the following make-up of the Dev Team=
1.Remove the inactive members and retain the active members.
2.Make the Dev Team more involved in developing the mod.It should have new members in the following fields-
>Ship Designers-The immediate requirement of a new mod is New Ships.[See Poll-In next mod i want?]Therefore,from the community itself 2 ships makers or designers MUST get entry into Dev Team.
I know Osiris can do ship skins and make some ships,but more are needed.
They can certainly help Strail get many ships into the mod.
>RP Developers-We need them to increase the RP in the mod.
They will certainly help in getting those ship descriptions,base descriptions,factions,news,rumors,various chars in the mod.This is very important and there are very good RP writers here.
Moreover these people need to think and make strategies that will help make RP possible when the mod is run.Like for example the location of trade routes in the mod,revive piracy which is desperately needed and so on.
So good RP writers they should be but among them there should be 1 trader,1 pirate(there are few so maybe an evil) and 1 from the navy will help.
Overall around 3-4 needed.
>Basic Modders-I know Strail works on the mod alone,but there must be some "low level work" that can be "outsourced" to a couple of guys.That will shorten the mod delivery time.There could be works like a changing a few systems here or there or something like that.
In some server communities people can submit an entire system,that may not be needed here but certainly an extra pair of hands or more can help Strail a lot.
>Pvpers-Generally the pvpers block are the ones with most demands and scrutinize the mod the most.Since many ships will be made and need to be made,it will be good to have a couple of good pvp veterans maybe 1 sniper and 1 brawler who can give inputs to ships designers on what they want.
They will also test these ships and work for overall balance of equipments,guns etc.
This will stop all the complaints later on after the mod is released.
3.The present 5 active members can be put in one of the above categories/specialized fields.
The new members can ofc,be a a ship designer and a RP Developer at the same time,members can be both or more at the same time.
Induction process-
Just like FAQ and EVENT,interested Void members should apply under each category or more,the Server Guards etc will decide.Applicants give their experience,answer a set of questions,maybe show a few of their works(in case of ship designers and basic modders).The entire process should be done within a week.
Benefits-
1.Quite obvious,new mod will increase player count.
2.A "more involved Dev Team" with more representations from community would mean the creation of a mod that the community has a few reasons to dislike or hate.
3.I cannot speak for Strail,but i believe he is greatly busy in RL which is hindering the mod development.This can "lower the burden" on him.
4.Mod will arrive on time.Less delays.
5.Possibility of regular mod updates a reality.
6.Well tested mod with fewer bugs,all the Dev Team would be heavily involved in beta testing.
Anyway that is my proposal,a new mod is needed no matter what.That can boost the member count without a doubt and it will iron out so many "flaws" in the mod,the people who left because of them will be back.
I know patience is a virtue but this can be done without waiting by our ideas and work.
We all know that there is a lot competition between the FL servers,fighting to hold on to the last bit of FL Players in the world, and they use every trick in the book to advance over each other just to get 1 more player into a server.
We got to keep up.
Feel free to criticize,new ideas,amend what i said etc,but do reply,if you don't that would just mean further apathy.

PS-If this is too anti-establishment,lock this up.But pls don't!
