After reading the post named "Wake Up!!" where most of the users that now go on Void had a say (and lets face it, with only 20 players online, it was most) surely a Vote is the only way forward!

I was going to have a say but it got locked, to my disappointment and in my opinion unecessarily.
Below is what i was half way through typing when it did get locked.

Iv'e been on VoidServer since before =DTA= was formed, not with the same user id.
I also got attacked by =DTA= hundreds of times. Was it a bad thing? NO... Infact it was the most fun i have ever had on Void since i first logged on years ago.
Maybe i enjoyed it because i'm not a bad loser! Or
Maybe i enjoyed it because i wasn't jumping on the "lets kiss Admins arses and moan" band-wagon! or
Maybe, just maybe, it made me a better player.
So why would i try to get =DTA= banned when they were playing on a shooting game, on a shooting server with guns and doing a very good job of getting Void noticed? Answer is i didn't, i just improved my game and tried to challenge them. Never once did i get abuse from them... Anyway rant over...

Now to the more serious issue of a vote....

As Admins seem to pick and choose who they want to give second chances to, I think it's only fare that a public vote should be in-place to see who does/doesn't want =DTA= back. Admins may lock this or not even listen if the players vote =DTA= back in but at least we all have a say!!

With all due respect, mate. Nobody who's begun playing here since after DTA was banned cares about them. Personally, I don't give a damn about what kind of a clan they might have been: in my opinion, the way they've been trolling the forums ever since they've been trying to get back here proves only one thing, that the ban on them is justified.
It's been said, repeatedly, that they are not going to be unbanned. No vote is going to change the reason behind that.

I vote against voting. This thread should be deleted: so please, have a bit of common sense, and delete it yourself instead.  


By the way, yesterday evening, there were around 50 players online. That's pretty much standard course for Sunday. Not everybody uses the forums, especially not new(er) players: with threads like these, I think you can see the reason why.

i was here when DTA was present and really, they dont deserve to be unbanned, besides no public vote will change the admins minds. so this whole voting is useless, i do the same as cmdrsaman and vote against voting.

just yesterday, i was for the DTA comming back after all the sayings of the veterans...but when i know te true reasons of their ban now i vote NO.
also i agree with draugr to dont post another bullshit here, strails let void to vector, if vector goes out so bye bye void. so shut up plz and dont do another bullshits.

I realize that most people left when =DTA= did and most clans collapsed through boredom so most don't have a clue what this post will be about.. As for your silly "common sense" comment, use your own common sense and read the post i was referring to at the top of my post. Only then will you have a clue how much influence =DTA= has on this server.

Like i said, i was also a victim of the =DTA= killing spree but i thought it was good fun and something to aim for in a shooting game.. I have never seen a clan even come close to being as good as =DTA= were on any server..

50 people?..... well theres 18 now, compare that with a almost constant 100+ when =DTA= were owning void and please don't tell me its an old game cos 24/7 has 100+ most of ther time.
The simple reason why Void is not even close to being as good as what it was is because people use "Freelancer, a shooting game" as a chat room. Go on COD 4 and see where you get with chatting away!! Dead thats were!!

This post may not change Admins minds but at least it will clear up all the =DTA= posts that are still made from non =DTA= members to this day asking for them to be given a 2nd chance like other clans have!!

So obviously don't vote if you was not around when =DTA= were.
If you was around then and as claimed "they abused people" then vote against.
If you was around then and had fun shooting on a shooting game vote for, simples!!

@ DTA: Because all you've been doing since coming back here was trolling the forums. You're doing a stellar job at that, but all it proves is that you deserve to be banned now - regardless of any reason you got the ban in the first place. If you want to know why you were banned in the past, send PMs to whomever you think could answer you. The way you've been behaving, though, don't be too surprised if they won't bother.

@ Pigeon: You're right. Now that you mention it, my [strike]spider[/strike] common sense tells me that DTA still seems to hold some influence with the ones posting on the forums. But if the only thing that that influence can achieve is to flame and troll the forums, then it's influence we don't need. Make some new characters and get in the game instead. A clan is made up of its players, not the tag anyway.
Also, what characters are you flying in-game, mate? :) Because strangely, I seem to get blown up a lot whenever I'm typing long sentences and other people are around. Hmm.
Oh, and of course there aren't 50 players online right now. It's Monday afternoon. I fail to see how DTA getting unbanned could raise the player count over 100 anyway.  

And where does anyone get the idea from that this is a democracy? The admins do whatever they want with the server. If you don't like it, feel free to play elsewhere. It's not like you are paying for it.

Somebody at least lock this topic please. It's going nowhere. I admit that I've added to that, too, so I won't be posting in this thread anymore.

Edit2: hahaha, mate, if you knew me or us at all, you'd know that we ain't never afraid of shooting and getting shot at :D

EDIT.. I have to admit some of the =DTA= posts may be a little OTT.. BUT.. When others are getting 2nd chances and others are not that turns a server into disrepute. Why should there be one rule for one and another rule for another?.. Rules are rules and should be the same for everybody, am i not right?

Also who is to say that =DTA= will come back as they were, a lot of people seem to forget that =DTA= held some very good competitions that resulted in credits to be made for everybody. for example i remember the "1st person to kill Venom gets 10,000,000 credits" anouncements. That was great fun and also =DTA= came up with some great ideas for tournaments on the Void and Admin can't deny that!!

Also my character names are \/\BOLT\/\ and Pigeon so it was not me who killed you while you were typing dude!!

-Overkill and overkill till the guy killed leaves server
-Disrespecting server rules
-Disespecting server staff
-Repeated bullshit no the forums
-and many others that i cant remember theyre too much.

Actually playing the game? Why are they allowed to? Has a =DTA= member posted her? If it is even possible? In their own hands? terrorising the community? Grow up? No bigheaded comments?
