Some Advice

These are some general terms of reference for you all to take a note of. Please pass them on to your fellow clan mates. Follow them or face the consequences - thanks.


1. When a VOID or ADMIN asks you to do something  - PLEASE do it - you can ask in green later if you must or you can PM them and ask why - normaly they should give you a reason for the request.  Failure to comply will result in a repeat request, followed (if you are lucky) by a "hint" - Killed then by a kick. Persistant offenders will be given a short ban, progressing onward through the ban system if this becomes a habit.

2. Sparta has become a "chat and date" system.  Technicaly New York is the only "safe" place to be if you want to hang around and chatter. This is a shooter server - not a dating agency.

3. DONT go /afk outside of New York if you are not docked - you will be killed.

4. Do not hang around spectating during a war. You will be killed.

5. Alexandria is not the new Sparta.  Under no circumstances will I tolerate players sitting on the fence and joining in when they feel like it. Sitting by docking gates is not to be encouraged or tolerated, especialy during a fight / battle.  You will be killed.  If I find you there you will be destroyed, then kicked and then banned if you do not comply with point 1 (see above).

6. "Back Chat" to ADMINS or VOIDS will get you vaporised. Then kicked - and then banned if you persist

Quoted for truth. A lot of people think that saying "afk" means you're not allowed to be shot. If there's a battle and one of my opponents goes afk in space, it will be priority to gun them down.

what diference between sparta and alex and at siting at docking ring or rock, we sit where we want

i have to aggree with Blade, if were sitting on the rock during a war, or sitting at a dock ring floating around, spectating a war, whats the diffrence? either way if they kill you they kill you. but popping up making all these new rules for battles, like you said, its a shooting sserver. and im srry, but i dont see very much shooting going on, everyone just sits there waiting to be killed, thats why being navy. evil or unbalanced. it doesnt make a diffrence, no one does anything either way. navy should hunt the evils, evils should hunt the navy. i dont see why we cant sit on a docking ring, if we cant sit on a docking ring, why are we allowed to sit on a base?

Hi, I think I'm not doing anything wrong if I'm afk while travelling from one planet to another in the 3D systems. Because I'M really AFK.
I use it to advice other players that it may take me a few minutes to answer.
I think you're talking about a "different" afk, but i won't use it if you think it's not ok.

For the rest, I agree 100%. The more RP, the more fun for me.

@ HASH - hmm - hadnt thought about that one - I know some people use this when they just dont want to talk - thats fine - what has been pointed out is that some feel that if they go /afk and are not docked that it gives them immunity - it doesnt - if your not in NY you will be shot at and killed - like edam said its A Free Kill.

@ Thorn - So its a shooter server but you think its alright to just sit around?  Thats the point Im trying to make here - Sparta has become such a place. People meet there and "chat" and politely PvP - nothing wrong just that its not what Sparta was designed to be - if nothing else you should be doing all of that in somewhere like the EFZ. Im not about to try and Police what goes on in Sparta - that would take away an area where you can actually do this.  My point is this. There is a War on. I am taking the oppertunity here to try and get people to ENGAGE - You are so right - its a shooter server - SO FIGHT - Dont TALK.  By encouraging "spectators" all that happens is when there is a large battle going on you can end up with a bunch of people standing around and then dipping into the fight when they feel like it....so much for RP.  I had a 4S player ask me when I requested him to either Engage or Move On (and I HOPE he was kidding!) "Who is my enemey and who should I fight?"   - EH????  your 4S - go kill some bad guys.!

Sitting on a base where your own team is respawning - fine - sitting at a Dock where both sides are respawning - unacceptable. Why? I witnessed a series of "backdoor" tactics being used. Its not on. Hiding behind the Dock gate makes the RP pointless and it turns Demosthenese into another Abandoned City - the "rule" applies to wherever the War is happening. Engage or Move On.  There is more shooting going on here than you have witnessed of late - that might be a time zone issue.  I am trying to encourage EXACTLY what you have stated. Shoot! Fight or Die. Not Chat and Date.  Remember - New York is the ONLY safe area in the VOID. In the EFZ RP is suspended so that people can train, hold events, chat to mates, practice etc etc.

Im not saying you cant PvP in the time honoured way - just when there is a War on go do that somewhere else and not in the War Zone.

@ Blade - Wrong - you sit where I tell you to sit....!  <):)  Seriously. Dont argue about this one it will get you nowhere fast. If you want to sit somewhere then do it in NY or if you feel lucky go do it in Sparta. If you feel the urge to hang around then go do it over by the trade lanes but dont be surprised if you get bushwhacked - and I wont put up with complaints about it either.  Hanging around the Planet Dock is unacceptable - it leads to unecessary agrivation and accusations.  You will be asked politely - then the VOID or ADMIN present will take whatever necessary steps they feel to get you to comply with a direct request. Its realy that simple. (see my response to Thorn).

nothing . you will respawn when you come back , so chill , easy ... he didnt put a knife into your heart...

But as for Hash Comment , i think AFK while travelling have no problem , correct me if im wrong.

zeb i never moaned if someone kills me while i afk and i nto bothering iff they do it like xenon said  i will just respawn and keep siting and if i not afk and sit there i just tired of figth and relaxing so i still dont understand why i cant do it, if someone moan about afk kill then yes, kick him out from there but not ppl who not complaining about it so sorry but i will nto agree with u in this point
