Tax Limit Petition

I wrote these words cause i think theres a need to raise the tax limit. The 200k are not enough. With a higher limit comes more piracy. A thing the server could need.

Bigger taxes will bring more pirates and thats a good thing but what incentive do i, as a player, have to engage with pirates...none ATM

A pirate can kill, pin and tax me yet if i do the same to a pirate...nothing

Give [H] tagged chars the power to fine [X] tagged chars and ill remake my Hunter in an instant, and chase those scurvy sea dogs all over Sirius  :D

Regardless, go kill traders for their cargo, even 150 of them might be worth more than 200k :P Besides, real piracy is about stealing cargo, not doing extortion, no? :)

This topic comes up quite a lot. The problem is idiots who would try taxing somebody money well in excess of what they own, example new players setting up. And the muppets who would ignore a rank based system and try the "The limit is $X so I'm taxing $X whether I'm meant to or not".

The 200k limit has always been stuck to through the threads I have seen. Still. I don't think trying a change would hurt.

The tax should be on a certaint limit, made by the persons rank. Not just because the pirate needs 100mill for a BS.

While the [H]unter tag afaik doesn't equal bounty hunters, the Bounty Hunters Guild's pilots do it for the [s]lulz[/s] money. Hint hint. Also, traders smuggling goods which are illegal in the system they're in are criminals as well.

While i agree with cmdrsaman,piracy is about stealing the goods but anyway there is no harm in implementing this.It maybe a welcome change.
Good to see that this time its up for discussion in Admin forums.There could well real change now.

SHYNE it's true 200k for piracy is not enought and just enought to buy....10canonball missiles.

for a good piracy maybe make a penality for pilots don't want to pay the the tax it's correctly idea..i think!!!

well i tax maybe 20-30 times and only 10 pilots pay the tax before i kill them or after.

i know this server is in RP and PVP that a very good server but for the pilots play in RP pay the tax when a pirat want it put some interrest for RP pilots.

maybe 400k tax or give something like weapons or cargo to a pirate when he tax it's well
