Does that mean that all BL people and 4S are violating server rules? After all their RP dictactes that they are hostile to all and play the same style as a rogue would/should do... Or is there something i missed here?

They do not carry the [R] tag.

So if i understand it correctly, it is allowed to play like a rogue but it is not allowed to add a [R] to a name (because then everyone would know its hostile)?

To me that sounds rather confusing, and im sure this sounds weird and confusing to new players as well. Offcourse that are only my thoughts...

The Rogue tag was removed because people couldn't play it properly

Virtually no one that had an R tag conformed to this. BL and 4S are not clans of Rogues they are evil clans and play an Evil RP, but it is NOT a [R] roleplay.

In this time of lower server numbers it has been judged that the R tag was causing a lot of new players to leave, due to not understanding what a Rogue was, and because as was mentioned earlier most people that flew a R tag didn't fly it properly. If you want to play as a Rogue you are welcome to you just don't wear a Tag.

Whats the big deal with the removed R tag if the rouge like behavoir itself alowed on the server ?
Untagged "freelacers" shooting down traders or attacking other players without any sense at all

R tag was good sign you have to be carefull in an area where that ppl shown up. If you trader then hide, if you fighter be prepared to fight

Abusive behavior is tolerated on the server :/ At least the rude players had a chance in the past to warn others about their style

It is not about i want R tag back but the leak of server rules about this manner must be fixed or something....

Rogues

Currently the server does not recognise the role play of Rogue (tagged [R] )

Is this means you can not attack other players without RP background? or just you can not wear the tag.
This is a multilangual server so i think the goal must be to use the most simple english as possible

Surely then server staff should have spoken to the players not playing the [R] properly instead of just banning it outright and spoiling it for the few that did?

Actually, it's your problem. You wonder why the R is not allowed and where is a difference, but most of you are in a clan and own untaged chars too.
Clan - it's reputation and RP. Alone X or R is nothing and every idiot with a single character only can hide behind this and annoy others.
And why your problem? Untaged chars are forbidden in n*o so when we are there, you all know it.

I find this an interesting post. You state here that clan is reputation and RP, and [x] and/or [r] is not. As far as i know the [x] tag is allowed on the server and stands for pirates. Pirates, once again as far as i know, so correct me if i am wrong, have the RP of asking tax for passage and the reputation that they do so or otherwise shoot you down. So alone [X] does stand for something. [R] i cannot judge because i do not see them on the server since it is not allowed.

Every idiot can hide and annoy others? Well, we offcourse also could go all into one big clan, hang in sparta and only say go to eachother. This way its all happy family and nobody will annoy others. I hardly doubt however that this will increase the fun being experienced by players...

Its nice that untagged chars are forbidden in n*o, but lets head back to the actual topic and not to the policies being pursued by individual clans...

Thank you for the first part. It means i misunderstood their RP and that is my own problem. Guess i will have to talk to them one day or check out their forums (hidden invitation for forum adresses?  :-? )

As for the second part, i am still confused about this. I guess a general warning for all players is then to watch out for untagged players, they can possibly be rogues?
