Missing char

So I logged in today to see that my ezuK-[o*n] trade char with AT is missing  @-)...I have not deleted it and last time I remember I had that char...what happened  :-? ?

It doesn't matter now, but I also lost a char, named Hyper_Active. This will need to be looked into.

If it's possible to restore these lost chars, don't bother with mine, I'm just trying to help with the topic at hand.

Hyper_Active was possibly too hyper active and got lost in space XDD...no seriously this situation is like saying to cheaters if nothing will be done: Live long and prosper.

Sorry but i will never understand this PM policy.
I wonder what's the point of having a public forum if most of the in-game issues need to be delt with via PM.
This will only discourage forum activity.

Dyn it still a member of the team, but as he has said himself he is not active at the moment due to computer problems. The Only person on that list with access to the remote is Strail.

But Strail is only one man, with a life and a job, so try and have a little patience.

I have spoken to Strail about this and he is looking into it, Any player that as had a ship disappear I need to to know
the char name and the date it was last loged into the server.

I have checked a couple of these listed and this is what I can confirm.
These characters have been "cleaned out" and deleted by the clean up cycle. They can be restored, If you want them restored you need to do the following:

1. Make sure you have a spare slot for the character.(Max 5 chars)
2. List the full name of the character, last time used, so I can pull it from the backup at the correct date for you.If your unsure of the date, give me a date to work off that fits with what you need. To reiterate i need a date, not "december" or "sometime in November". If the backups there I will restore it.


The cleanup cycle has now been changed back to a normal cleanup cycle.This part of the housekeeping is not usually checked as you set it a leave it and dont expect it to be changed.

This should now NOT be a problem

just logged and now all my chars are deleted, cant belive. I lost few months ago because didnt loged 2 months and now i lost all. Nice this cleanup deleting a work for ages, even if the player have left the game he want to keep his stuff. I had a email to a admin but no asnwer. See my posts. Is posible to have them back? thanks.....

There was a char wipe when the 2112 replaced the v9 so everyone lost their chars.

@ wromania the chars you lost where due to the player wipe NOT the clean up.
The Player wipe deleted Everyone's chars, you are not alone we all had to start again.
