What is the point of a wireless mou

Wireless mouses cost like double regular ole mouses for computers and I don't understand the pros of getting a wireless one. I can understand when it comes to a keyboard b/c you can put it in places that perhaps the cord wouldn't reach but when it comes to the mouse, it always has to be on a surface next to the computer so what difference does it make if it's attached to the comp or not?

Hi Coldivar and welcome to the Void, I do have to differ on this as i would be lost without my wireless optical mouse. All my comps have them as you can use them anywhere I quite often just use them on my knee, and the cost well my logitech cost me £4.99......

A4-Tech G6 Saver wireless mouse here with 10 meter radius. It is PERFECT for me to use it when i watch movies on my TV. Im minimum 1.5 meter away from my PC. I dont wanna see any wires in the middle of the room.
I also have a wired cheap one. That is a crap but somehow i have found out that is better for the only game depends on lots of thiny mouse movements (Freelancer) im playing with ;p
