Greetings,
This is a long overdue post. Me and my dad played on Void and enjoyed it greatly as our 2nd Freelancer multiplayer experience.
However, one day, in 2007, my dad found all his characters, some with millions, deleted by the auto-wiper. He was a fun, mess-with-nobody player, mostly shooting NPCs and learning from other veterans in his BBB clan. Needless to say, that ended his FL Void career. He has always been a busy man and some working sprees strangle him for months.
About 3 years ago (2013), I returned to the Void (it being mostly abandoned), played for a while, then I return a couple of months later to again find my own characters deleted (2nd time). I returned a year later and again re-made my characters, but after a few months I decided to log in again, and the auto-wiper did its job (3rd time).
Let's be fair, characters don't take a whole lot of space. I'm sure my dad and I are not the only victims of this, and now, this change is even more important, given the ghostly server visitors.
Current Owner/Admins MUST TAKE THE AUTO-WIPER OFF! It has been the silent assassin of the Void, and most importantly, it is one that can easily be dealt with.

I know it was a good feeling for me and long while back that, after almost 2 years for not playing this mod, I came back and both my ships were still here. That's unlike most other servers.
It's been a while since then as well. I'm looking to revisiting this mod again, soon. Just need to know exactly what mod is running on the server?
