Who could forget [ADMIN] Kodiak, formerly [BBB] Kodiak, best sense of humor of any player I've met on the Void, and a damm fine bloke.

Never a truer word said! Kodi Whenever you'd get Kodiak and Wayfarer, either on their own or together, on ts  =))
Man those 2 guys were as funny as hell! My good pal Fracture was also a laugh a minute. NI!
Its a shame that a lot of players hear have never had the chance to meet these guys, and others, who played such a big part in making the Void what it is.
And some of the players who helped make the server such a fun place to play (in no particular order):
BBB Maniac. Not sure if hes still playing here but this guy is a thoroughly  top notch human bean. Always there to help anyone no matter what!
BBB Evo. Just a genuinly nice guy.
BBB Spartan. Good guy and holds the record for first clan member to hit 10k kills.
Shadows Doom and Chaos witch. My blood enemies but still a lovely couple These 2 put the evil in evil.
Stargate Carter. Our resident babe for a good while, also the creator (with Night stalker) of the clan ships.
Stargate Hammond. Another realy nice guy.
Stargate O'niel. Ditto.
Kidd. A genuinly nice young chap.
Dark cloud. Good guy even if he was an evil alien type. Another great sense of humour.
Foulest pig. Always up for a laugh.
Reaper/Nexis. Nice guy even if he was a pirate.
Bird. One of the best fighters this game has seen.
Raistlin. I saw ure name in the online box so I know ure still checking in
Ram. Always enjoyed our scraps.
Enchy. Any trouble and she'd be somewhere near by
Night stalker. Another funny bloke.
Tusken. Still tonking away I hope
Steeb. Another nice guy from Syndi.
Suzzy. Miss all ure lovely recipes.
Zach. One of the Voids best when it came to pvp.
Gabba. Another decent evil type.
She devil  Voids own little lady. Probably not so little now lol
And many many more!
Its all part of playing online games at the end of the day though. Most of the time you're creating relationships with folks from all over the place and when a game has such a long life as FL, eventualy folks will move on.
Still though, plenty of great memories and one of the main reasons that many folk can look back over years of gameplay on such a great server.
A happy coming together of minds only possable thanks to the main man and his helpers.

Was just trying to think of any stuff that was different on the server from when I played about 4 years ago,did there used to be more gates in Alex back then as in when you came in to it from NY?

Yeah, last mod there were all the main House gates next to the NY and Sparta gates. They moved them thanks to all the Rogues and Pirates which would constantly harrass the Traders along there. We all used to form our own little convoys and have our fighters stationed next to the gates in case of trouble

to answer your 1 question , no there was only a couple of jg in alex to start with.  the other jg to all the house main systems were added in the 2112 mod. so were a hand full of systems to include babylonia. the new ships were brought out at that time also.

wow trav nice memory or the first 8 months of the server. that should be all put togeather in an achive for void history.
and you know that kodi is the reason i am here he befriended my boy then me when we first showed up. then i spent some time with the kba and joined them. but the kba and the bbb were so close back then we were like one clan almost. all those hours on tracker/sticks personal TS, before the void had TS, were some of the best times i have ever had on this game. between kodi and wayfarrer i would be crying almost every night, from lol so hard. back before admin ships were uber. and kodi would spend the whole night killing wayfarrer and tiods just for the laughs.

you hit the nail on head to, tiods, frac, clavet (who is still around from time to time) kodi, wayfarrer, ellessar. this guys would all get in TS and they were just real good people. you were glad you got the chance to know them. that is how much fun they were. back when pvp was not about killing a player just so you could taunt them after and talk crap. it was more of a "lol i got you that time lol" more about the fun and less about the hole " i am the best" crap. and of corse we still have our very wise and all around good guy kahless with us still today. again anouther very nice guy who is always willing to help you out.

there is a good point here to why we were the best server to play on, while other servers admin got big heads about their power. this guys seen it as a way to serve the other players, not rule over them. regardless of what some bad apples say. i know for a fact that this guys never wanted to ban anyone, they were always wiling to help others and wanted everyone to just have fun and a great time while they were here.

kinda makes me miss those night almost 4 years ago, thinking about it.
