I will say my piece, don't get me wrong I did like DTA and I liked the way they played, I helped them a lot and they were good people.
BUT, The Quote sums it up, pretty much as frag whoring and insults, please DTA guys don't make it seem as though you were innocent on these points, because a lot of people including yourselves know full well it went on.
Let me highlight a few things,
Sending low level chars money, bring them over level 20 to kill them....
Your abusive sigs, such as the one you made dyson? The lagger one...
Raping the gates, Now this one is debatable but NEW player still HAVE to go through there if they wanna find things...
Remember the whole Ruggs is a *Insert bad name* crap? among other names?
calling people names when you got killed, or you seen them as laggers?

hmmmm this is my point of view ok i think i am neutral with alomst everyone in this server, until i fell foul of the stigmata that was =DTA= purely from the [-TDA-] clan now why was this i ask myself. Well i put it down to this grudge's - now i looked into the legality of said crimes and punishment, now because this is a rented server. and if 1 member made a donation then the server staff have a legal obligation to allow said person to use what he had donated too.
next thing i looked at i was banned along side the rest of [-TDA-] now i lost all forum rights and on top of that my mpid was complete ban. JUST BECAUSE OF AN OLD GRUDGE.
I will vote on this and i say yes but....let them play on a cartoon spaceship.
oh and just for your info whilst i was flying with [-TDA-] not only did i see venom give advice to new pilots i also seen him give lessons too and if you remember correctly he offered FREE advice on making sigs.
Speaking of sigs, yes the jr Hartly ones were a bit forward but if they can make stuff as good as that even though they were crude whats the lessons going to be like when they do it in a professional sense.
i think this is hypocritical and also a form of bullying as well as a breach on human rights.

The only reason people don't want =DTA= back is because they are scared of being shown up infront of their clan. Why else would you not want them back? I cant think of one reason!!
Not one person has come up with a good valid reason why =DTA- are not allowed back apart from, apparently, a few silly imature posts made from =DTA= members. Which i presume is out of pure frustration at there being different rules for different clans!!
Is that a good enough reason for them not being allowed back? I don't think so!!
The problem here is Admin being to stubborn when they know damn well that =DTA= can only have a good effect on the server, if you think that is wrong give me 1 reason why not.
Will people really leave the Void if they do come back? i doubt it, if anything it will improve peoples game. It will also make almost everybody, except =DTA=, have a goal and bragging rights should they kill a member of =DTA=.
It will also cause mass revenge for lots of people, including people who left ages ago, giving them a new reason to play Freelancer.
It will cause those people who have never come up against =DTA= to see what all the fuss is about.
Also =DTA= will have to start all over again so you can blow them up while they rebuild.
I presume =DTA= will also be about 10 members short of what they used to be causing them to scout for potential new members.
Negative effects? errrrrrmmmm.. Bad losers crying.

What is more important to you,to have a clan like =DTA= just whit another name,whit same old crew in it and all have fun on void...shootin other players,hunting,gettin hunted,RP,bla,bla etc,like you did before,or is it more important to you to leave things how they are and live on the old glory,live in history because i doubt Vector-x will change his mind and unban your =DTA= tag.

Will the server PC explode?
Will Freelancer crash?
Will the mod have a seizure and do weird backflips?
So if a change in name is all that is needed then how about -DTA-?

DTA were banned from the server and will not be allowed back on the server due to theit bad attitudes, and childish behaviour. Their continued aduse and debasement of server staff both before they were banned and afterwards.
THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING TO PROVE THAT THEIR ATTITUDES TO THE SERVER STAFF HAVE CHANGED. Infact if their recent offerings are anything to go by they have got worse.
I mistakenly tried to defend their corner when I first became a guard, until I had seen first hand the abuse they are capeable of. Most of the staff in question have since left the server, so no ss are not available, and if they were they couldn't be posted. Those that saw their resultant posts when they were told they could not come back have an idea of what they are capable off.
From what i remember recently =DTA= first asked nicely if they where allowed back on because other banned clans where, i read that post. There responce was a simple snobby "No. Kind Regards"...
So they asked for an explanation to which they were told "=DTA= IS OVER" Post locked...
So then, out what i can only presume to be total understandable frustration, a couple of bizzare posts were posted. OK they were a little uneccessary but so was Admins responce to there original lighter post to which, yet again, no good reason was given why one clan was allowed in and another not. Just a simple obnoxious "post closed/locked"
So i think both sides are as bad as each other!!
Also correct me if i'm wrong but originally it was because of "abuse" or "insults" and now its turned to "posts".... Please make your minds up guys!!! I'm getting very confused here!! #-o
Also i have noticed the vote is very close, infact its that close that if it was a members only vote =DTA= would be winning fare and square!!
Not that its a decider if there allowed on but a members opinion, which is what it should be about, not what Admin think is correct.
Thats why the people of each country vote their prime minister/president!!

Why has this thread been allowed to stay open? It's as plain as the nose on my face that it serves only one purpose, and thats to stir up contention between players.
Dta have been banned. End of.
And don't for one minute think that any current lack of players is due to your being banned. Up until a few weeks ago, there was a decent amount of folks coming online. So what if it wasn't 100 head count, the server has had quiet times before. The majority of the time you all just sat around the jump gates in alex doing nowt but getting boners over how many frags they'd managed that evening.

Simple. Ent, has been very well behaved, he has given to the community and has proved that he is mature enough to come back and give the community something good. EG Piracy, XEF are back and piracy is back ont eh rise so therefore RP is on the rise.
Why cant DTA come back then?
Its very simple, So simple I will keep this simple so you can understand. They are doing the opposite of what Ent has done with XEF. Refer to my other post if you need more enlightenment.
Where are the Screen shots?
The whole DTA thing was a long time ago, so SS are removed deleted or whatever, people have left the server in the mean time taking SS's with them.
What can go wrong if DTA are let back?
Bad feedback from the community, clans breaking down? New players not leaving NY? feeling abused? Yes this is a shooter game, but new players need to get a foot hold before they are pwnt.
Insults or posts?
Both. That shouldn't be too hard to grasp.
